Nice place to stay! The price is fair, not expensive! A large sort of typical dishes! You can select the food and pay for the amount in Kg! Surely I'll be back!

This restaurant had a really good array of Northeastern food. The decor is also Northeaster (or so they said) and even the waiters are dressed up. It's a buffet and you pay by weight. I enjoyed the food and the show. If you are a tourist and want to see something different, this restaurant is a must.

I was in Recife for a wedding. Not my first visit to Brazil but my first to Recife. The bride and her mother took me to lunch at Parraxaxa described as Cozinha Tipica Nordestina.. I understand the beachfront sister property was mostly full of American tourists but this new location was packed with locals for lunch. There are a number... More

The atmosphere was fun. The food was great. Oh so many choices! Put it on your list of eateries! We had a large party and yet no one felt slighted at all. The staff was very friendly and courteous and helpful. Even equipped with senses of humor! We went for a late dinner. The outdoor patio is so festive in... More

The typical regional food is the highlight with its delicious and varied dishes. The staff dress fashion the northeastern hinterland is polite and always ready to take your photos and serve you. Sweets are local fruit as well as delicious traditional desserts. Anyway worth a try. This time I was in the restaurant Boa Viagem but the time before the... More

The restaurant's ambience is superb. Its walls are decorated with clay sculptures and leather, in reference to the houses of "sertão" (interior region of northeastern Brazil). The waiters' clothes also refer to the sertão. The restaurant is speciallized in the northeast cousine, serving goat, chicken giblets, "sarapatel" (dish prepared with the blood kidneys and lungs of a pig or lamb),... More

Good place for dining, you can experiment a lot of different typical northeastern brazilian foods. The price will vary on what you put on your place since you pay by the kilo, but it's not expensive. You can also order other plates, like queijo coalho or cuzcuz (brazilian style, not moroccan) as appetizers or desserts, it you like. Go with... More

That is a good value for money option for those who want to taste a great sample of the local cusine and don't mind having a meal by weight. The food is pretty good and the thematic decor has much to do with the northeast Brazil culture. But the attention is cold and the dining room, always crowded, is also... More
