...serving delicious northeast brazilian food in a comfy atmosphere. The restaurant offers a broad variety of dishes in a buffet service - from a great salad bar over the typical brazilian meat selection to fantastic sobremesas. The staff, even though they are dressed in the typical "cangaceiro" clothes (the northeast brazilian bandit nomads: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canga%C3%A7o), are very friendly and helpful. Impossible not to love this place! It has a large variety of dishes to please all tastes and you get to try them all and eat as little or as much of anything you want from there. Save your appetite to go there, because you are going to go back for extra servings and for all the delicious desserts. And... More

Here is another one of those everything from Brazil, weigh your plate restaurants. Parraxaxa lays out a fine selection of Brazil's best with an additional spread of food dedicated to the North-East part of the country. There might be some offerings that look a little strange, but you really need to dig in and try it all. Take small portions... More

Absolutely loved this place and the only thing I found open late one night near my hotel. I wish they would open one of these in New York!

We had a nice lunch and were able to try several new dishes along with good selection of standard buffet food that was well prepared and presented.

Nice place to stay! The price is fair, not expensive! A large sort of typical dishes! You can select the food and pay for the amount in Kg! Surely I'll be back!

This restaurant had a really good array of Northeastern food. The decor is also Northeaster (or so they said) and even the waiters are dressed up. It's a buffet and you pay by weight. I enjoyed the food and the show. If you are a tourist and want to see something different, this restaurant is a must.
