The restaurant's ambience is superb. Its walls are decorated with clay sculptures and leather, in reference to the houses of "sertão" (interior region of northeastern Brazil). The waiters' clothes also refer to the sertão. The restaurant is speciallized in the northeast cousine, serving goat, chicken giblets, "sarapatel" (dish prepared with the blood kidneys and lungs of a pig or lamb),... More

Good place for dining, you can experiment a lot of different typical northeastern brazilian foods. The price will vary on what you put on your place since you pay by the kilo, but it's not expensive. You can also order other plates, like queijo coalho or cuzcuz (brazilian style, not moroccan) as appetizers or desserts, it you like. Go with... More

That is a good value for money option for those who want to taste a great sample of the local cusine and don't mind having a meal by weight. The food is pretty good and the thematic decor has much to do with the northeast Brazil culture. But the attention is cold and the dining room, always crowded, is also... More

Tipical restaurant serving dishes from Nordeste Region. An incredible amount of dishes and desserts available. You can try all of them, once this is a kilo restaurant. service is effective.

Parraxaxá it's a wonderful restaurant, dressed to not let forget you are in Northeast. Full of character, this restaurant is almost always crowded with locals and foreigners who are eagers to taste the exquisite food. If you are not open wide for new food, go carefully because the taste is basically from our region. But I am sure that "galinha... More

The food is served as a buffet ,with dishes typical from the interior of northeast Brasil. It was different but not especial. It is mainly different kind of rices, beans, chicken and dry meat. You pay by the weight, you put everything you want on a plate ,they weight it ,and you pay by the kilo. They also have a big variety of... More

A good restaurant to not local people taht wants to taste a little of the penambucan's food! It's not a expensive restaurant in the opction of a la carte or self service choices. The Main courses are the regional meal: goat, ox gut, buxada and others typical foods. To drink, nothing better than a juice of a tropical fruit, like... More

Simply the best restaurant of "local food" in Recife. Excellent food variety, outstanding quality, tasty, with a very friendly and helpful staff. All that for such a fair price! The atmosphere is very simple but great with nice decoration. There is a self-service with an incredible variety of dishes as well as many others on menu that you can order... More
