Great little restaurant tucked away in a quiet street. Obviously popular with locals and was full both times we visited last week. Walk past the Chinese entrance and go into the Indian styled one. Interior theming (taxi chassis, gossip magazine menu style, large fake tree in the centre and wall murals) made it seem like an Indian style hogs breath... More

Bollywood in India is located in Mumbai, a place famous for its visa paos, Batata vadas, pao bhajjis, etc. This restaurant doesn't serve all that though it serves a flavour of Bollywood to its guests through the decor of the restaurant! Therefore you will find the photographs of the famous Bolly heroes and scenes from their film depicted on the... More

The ambience, menu was all Bollywood themed. An interesting place to be in if you like Indian food and Hindi movies.

I was visiting alone as a sole female westerner and was made to feel so comfortable and welcome by all the staff, despite it clearly being a local hangout. The vibe here was excellent, I arrived bang on 7 when they open for dinner and by 7.20 on a Wednesday, it's was full of lively groups creating a fun, relaxing... More

When you enter the diner you will find yourself in the graphic world of Bollywood, from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan, from Nana Patekar to ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl Madhuri will welcome you. You will perceive that a real taxi is set at the corner as an ‘eye candy’. We started out dinner party with Tandoori Murgh and Triranga Panner, dishes... More

We stayed in the Park Plaza and this restaurant is literally on the door step so thought we'd try it. Food was good and the prices very reasonable. Good selection of alcohol and nice atmosphere. Would recommend.

The decor of the restaurant is that of a highway dhaba and what strikes you the moment you enter the place is the half taxi bang in front of you with its headlights on! Cannot leave out the Bollywood paintings and old movie posters on the walls. The seating is comfortable and everything is served in copper vessels along with... More

Mirch Masala was one of my most favorite hangout place in Kolkata. With a theme of a Bollywood Dhaba seating is comfortable.Good Kebabs to start off with-Shikari Alu, Non veg mili juli kebab, murgh malai kebab, Achari Paneer Tikka. Their best non vegetarian main course dish would be the Achari Murgh. Hyderabadi Gosht biryani and Fish Tikka are also a... More

This is good place overall. Not that all food tastes great. But kebab items and starters are good. The ambiance is nice. The prices are also reasonable. During weekends it may get a bit cramped.
