The food is simply superb, bringing in the original collonial british flavor to the food. However the cramped up space, crowded atmosphere and delayed services cause dismay.

This is an all time favourite for good continental and Indian cuisine. However the decor leaves a lot to be desired and is not upto the standard of the restaurant. Prices are average + by local Kolkata standards.

you need to visit mocambo to know what i mean......it's like no place u have ever been. mocambo's decor and interiors have decayed with age but not its food quality. no where in the world would u find better sizzler steaks...try the bhetki steak...it's heavenly

Mocambo is undoubtedly the best place for continental food in Calcutta. Try out Devilled crab (the best there is), the Chicken Ala Kiev, the Sizzlers. Every traditional European continental item is simply awesome!

Amongst several others in Park Street, Mocambo sits at the top in terms of the resturant which scores high when it comes to nostalgia, colonial charm and great food. The menu list hasn't changed for a long time but then that is the USP. From cost perspective quite reasonable. One of my favourite resturant.
