Great food

Must visit for people who like to try the tangra style chinese. The ambiance needs to be better but the food is crazy.

The best Chinese restaurant in the Tangra cluster of food joints! i.e if you care for some amount of authenticity as well. Many a sunny Sunday afternoons have been spent here relishing their yummy crab lollys and Kalyani black label!

Want the best Chinese you can get in ......... ( will leave for you to fill after you have had a meal here) come to Kim Fa .Cushioned away amidst the earlier functioning leather tannery area called Tangda nothing will give you a hint that it caters to one of the most satisfying dining experiences. Just focus on the food... More

Kim Faa is a small china town eatery where still the owner chinese couple cook themselves. Don't expect fancy ambience - the place is mostly used by people who swear by its food for pickup. The Chinese living in Tangra buy food from Kim Faa. Our family picks up food at least twice a month from here. We just love... More

Been visiting this restaurant since I was about 10 years of age and they had wooden stools to sit and no air-conditioning of course! Arguably the best Chinese food money can buy in Tangra. Personally I swear by the Chilly Chicken with bones.

Had heard a lot about this place. So finally got there one evening. Long story short disappointed. Food was good. More authentic than most other Chinese places in India. Which is a plus or minus based on your preference. The atmosphere and ambience really put me off. Lots of loud drinking groups of men downstairs. Steep stairs to quieter upstairs.... More

We picked up food from Kimfa for a year-end family reunion. Our selection covered home-made chowmein and fried rice (both veggie), mixed vegetables, prawn chilli balls, boneless chiili chicken and ginger fish. Each item was very well done, the prawn was one of the best I've had anywhere, and the homemade noodles were really special. This is the best Tangra... More

Kimfa is a small, family owned restaurant in the center of Tangra, Kolkata's chinatown. It is not fancy, but its clean and the food is excellent. The place is packed with locals, while the tourists go elsewhere. The chili shrimp is great! If you call ahead, you can order local dishes that are not on the menu for an extra... More
