Actually on a side street, still a well known place to eat. Good selection of pizza, plus Chinese, Continental - whatever that is - as well as Indian dishes. Generally 100 to 250 rupees a person. Recommended.

I did not eat "western" food, I stuck to the Indian meals. I ate at the Blue Sky Cafe frequently given it was near my hotel and was conveniently located (open quite late) after a long day of working/photographing. Ok, so it may have been a bit more expensive than other "cheap" eateries, but I did not get ill and... More

They have an extensive menu. That place has a very simple seating, that is meant for travellers on the go, or for people with a need for a quick bite. Not recommended for leisurely pace.

During a 10 day stay in Kolkata my boyfriend and I ate dinner here 4 times. Unfortunately after the 3rd time my boyfriend was sick in the night. However we didn't think it was due to Blue Sky as it is a popular place and the food tasted fine so we attributed it to something else and made the mistake... More

We were there as part of a group - one of us got quite ill afterwards; the impression was that old food had been used/food 'reused'. so not sure about them i know popular place for people who want 'western food' - still I would be cautious

This is quite a small place but located in a strategicpoint where all foreign guest houses line up in Sudder Street. Not owned by any foreigner or even a special one just another business man from adjacent state. But the juice the make has takers. Also other styled food which the foreigner will naturally find. They sell it well and... More

Good for simple breakfasts and lunch . You can get low cost snack meals here that are not bad value for the money. Its definitely no frills , but its a great meeting place , a lot of volunteers for Mother T's hang out here exchanging stories. I always order another pizza , get them to slice it and give... More

Our stay in Calcutta has been great after discovering this little restaurant. It's overcrowded with tourists but the food is originally indian/Bengali but they do have a wide menu with continental, Chinese and Thai choices. Every dish we tasted was tasty and prices were just right!
