Authentic Bengali cuisine. Had Bengali company to help me with the menu. Everything that I ordered was yummy. Enjoyed and I am a regular on all Kolkata trips here.

Great bong food with a good spread. Starting with traditional luchi and begun bhaja to steam rice and mutton. Everything was cooked well. Taste and hospitality was up to the mark. Gondhoraj ghol, the latest addition beyond the buffet was great. What was missing in the menu? A signature dish, something which leaves a wow effect. All good, but here's... More

Weekend? Have free time? Waiting for an authentic Bengali food restaurant? Then this is the perfect place for you. If you are in Kolkata then borrow some time to taste the Bengali food. Delicious and hand licking taste with wide varieties of Bengali dishes.

last weekend visited their Saltlake branch for dinner. The decor and music gives you a great feeling. The food was good but I had expected the Fish Paturi to be better.

This was on my wishlist for a while and finally got a chance to lunch with family yesterday. Only buffet was there and our group consisted mix of veg and non -veg and so had the opportunity to try all the items on the menu. To start with, the ambience simply bowled us over -just like a traditional bangali baari.... More

I have been to their restaurants innumerable times, both the original location (named after the actual address) and their popular Salt Lake ones, that being a short drive from my office. The orignal address is a much more cosy place which can seat more than 50 at any point pof time. In comparison the Salt LAke location feels a little... More

This place gives you an amazing experience of authentic Begali food. Hilis fish preparation was mindblowing. Baigun bhaja along with jhingri was as awesome as it can get. We also asked for Mangsho and luchi and it was out of this world. Go and enjoy your authentic Bengali food here.

The first thing that strikes you at this place is the homely atmosphere that gives a warm welcome to all the visitors alike. The food also very very authentic and provides a true picture of proper bengali food. The buffet is good. Must try a few of the fish delicacies: Mourala Peyaji and Prawn Cutlets.

The homely atmosphere of the restaurant, with fantastic buffet food gives you an opportunity to experience authentic Bengali food at a very fair price. Great place, will go there again.
