Kebaberie par excellence. Sort of.

Known for its splendid kebabs and biryani, Arsalan is certainly worth a visit after you've had time to get used to Calcutta. Either order a take-away from the ground floor or dine-in in the air conditioned upstairs dining room. The dining room is cramped and there's often a long queue - and always... read more

You got to eat Biriyani here. There are various styles of Biriyani in India, this Kolkata Biriyani stye is the best. Try their mutton chaps too.

I've been here a couple of times. It gets very crowded and you don't have much personal space while eating, but the reason for that is that the biryani is really excellent. Kabobs are also good. It is located on Park Circus, a reasonable walk from the main restaurants on Park Street. It is quite inexpensive.

This place needs no introduction as it has fans all over the city. The biryani and the starters are good and are affordable. However, the place is a bit crowded and without it, there is no charm to the city of joy.

Arsalan is one of the best biriyani places in the world and definitely the best in Kolkata. Kolkata style biriyani which is a derivativ e of awadhi style( lucknow style) biriyani is cooked on slow flame with basmati rice, chicken/ mutton and potato. It is not as spicy as the hyderbadi style or South ( dindigul biriyani). Arsalan has a... More

They are famous for their Biriyani. And it's true. Excellent taste with less oil and so called cheap aromas. Kebabs are very standard taste and price. Take away is possible. Other items are standard. It is a very familiar name in Kolkata. Worth to visit.

If you want to taste the real flavors of Biryani, visit Arsalan without any doubt. The best biryani of Kolkata, if not of India. There's a non A/C one on Park Circus 7 point crossing and another at a 5 minutes walking distance, which is an A/C restaurant. I have always been to the A/C restaurant, so wont be able... More

Arsalan boasts of the best biriyani in Kolkata, but that ofcourse is a debatable topic! To me, their Iranian Mutton Stew is the best mutton stew I had in a long long time. Considering that the appearance of this stew is unconventional (its rich in color and thick), but the moment you taste it, you understand how light and easy... More

Biriyani was not that good according to its reputation. Always busy, I had to stand in a que to get a seat. Then I took a parcel which was very quick.
