Awesome Bengali Food

Typically Bengali food is considered as non veg paradise but the food here was a true veg delight I tried typical Bengali veggies served with boiled rice and the taste was divine The interior of the place was adding flavor to food Highly recommended and especially the kolkata one

For the authentic bengali food do visit here once. The service and the food quality is too good. The staff is very friendly and cooperative

And decor is very nice. Not for the penny pinching ... pretty expensive even by US standard. We had some typical bengali food like luchi and manghso (puffed roti-like bread and goat meat curry) and they were awesome. We also had some fish items and my wife had vegetarian selections. Overall very good experience.

I have eaten at Oh Calcutta on three or four different occasions. It is very costly but I keep going back because the food is just so good. Loochi fresh out of the fryer and still puffy, Bhetki in mustard sauce steamed in banana leaf, Chingri Malai Curry, it goes on. The best Bengali food I have eaten in Kolkata... More

not just the bengali, but also the continental cuisine is worth a mention though some dishes like the daab chingri can be a little overrated. The paturi is amazing & best had with plain rice. Definitely end your meal with payesh - dessert and when in season, the aam panna is refreshing!

My 19 year old son, Archie, and I had dinner here during our stay in Calcutta, based on TripAdvisor recommendations. The restaurant is on the 4th Floor of the Forum Mall at 10/3 Elgin Road. It's a bit off the beaten track and we were walking so it was a little difficult to find. I recommend you take a taxi.... More

Food taste is good .pls try gandhoraj fish..price wise little bit on higher side but when you comapare with food quality then it's no problem to pay little bit. By the heard that this restaurant is also same owner of mainland china. Will recommend to visit... More

There were 2 stunning dishes in the meal. The free chutney (it's actually Salsa with mustard, probably English mustard) and the pan fried vegetables in butter served as an accompaniment to the Smoked Hilsa fish starter, which was average. My main course was a Bengali Mutton Curry. unfortunately it was on the bone and can only be described as average.... More

In contrast with the other Bengali restaurants in Kolkata, this (the Forum Mall unit) has a fine dining ambience. The quality of food is very high and the staff are helpful. However, avoid items on the menu that are not Bengali cuisine!
