Flurys is one of the landmarks of Calcutta's socio-cultural scene. Located on Park Street, it has been the destination for fine Raj cuisine for many generations. A recent visit revealed that the confections retain their quality and flavour. Pastries and puffs are still wonderfully reminiscent of a genteel age long past. However, the ambience and decor has been modernised to... More

If you a gourmet person and love the more finer things in life, then Flurys, Kolkata is the place for you. We had croissants, cause I love em the way they make it. We ordered the English Breakfast, Joggers Breakfast and pastry. It was wow! The service, well sometimes there are wait times since the queue is huge some mornings,... More

Flurys on Park Street is an essential part of Calcutta. This place still has that old world charm. I have been going to this place since 2004. The pastries are heavenly delicious. The coffee is very very good. The atmosphere inside is homely. The entire place is like a little slice of heaven...

The place is all its said to be. There were lines in front for breakfast early on a rainy Sunday morning. We on the other hand had gone for after dinner coffee and desert. The pastry and tart were good no doubt. And the place had an old world charm. The only thing I couldn't figure out was why they... More

Flury's is the quintessential place to visit in kolkata.Though, there's plenty of stuff, but we try to keep it simple by just having coffee, and occupying our favourite seats near the window overlooking the hustle and bustle of park street.Being a spectacle to that chaos from the calm ambience inside,is an experince. And yes the coffee helps.-Vineet Vinod Munghate

We came here for a "tea time" and found out they have really good pain au chocolat. It's a bit more expensive but if you want a western treat in a chique setting: this is a place. An Indian couple we know recommended it to us, it's really an "institute" in Kolkata.

Title says enough I think! Breakfast and food is ok standard, you will probably be a bit dissappointed given the price. Coffee was great though so bonus.

Decided to visit Flurys after 15 long years last week. The décor was modernised from what I had seen it last. We ordered 2 cups of blended Assam and Darjeeling tea and it was served well...only would have preferred the old sugar cubes in a pot instead of dispensable sachets. we ordered a ham croissant which I thought would be... Just not the same it used to be. I used to go there in the 70's & 80's with my parents. For nostalgic folks like me returning to Flurys after a long gap, was a complete disappointment. Service was horrible and the once-very-famous-pastries-of-Calcutta left me disappointed.
