This cafe is located on the Mall. The front section is the store, and the back section is the cafe. Pros: - You get free tea samples. Sit back, relax, taste and then decide. - You have quite a bit of seating area, and you get a view of the city. - The store offers a wide variety of teas.... More

The tea tasting was fun with twelve teas lined up in glass cups. Although quite well educated tea wise I still learned new facts about tea production around Darjeeling. Yes the prices are not cheap but the tea is fine quality, high grown and single estate, therefore the best and it shows. If you want cheap tea buy teabags! Unfortunately... More

It's my mistake that I couldn't choose any flavor from the vast collection of teas. The reason is I ordered green tea and black tea altogether. So after tasting 5 types of tea at a time I got confused.

We visited the Golden Tips Outlet at the Mall located near Chow-rasta as we wanted to buy Darjeeling tea. The staff there were either not interested or just over worked!! They did not once try to engage our interest and when we tried to inquire about the different varieties of teas at display they kept directing us to each other!... More

One can go there, choose the tea and they will prepare it for you to taste before you decide to buy it. They have teas ranging from 500 rupees a kilo to 24000 rupees a kilo. The staff helps you choose a tea as per your choice. And then they make those that you have chosen and serve it to... More

This is again one of the many good tea houses in Darjeeling offering plenty of options for tea lovers. The staff were very helpful and provided useful information. It was a different experience for a non-tea lover like me!

Spent about 1.5 hours here and sampled 14 varieties. All were good, some just OK, but a few were extraordinary! Prices aren't clearly posted and you get the feeling they make up a price for you depending on which one you want to buy and how much they think you're willing to pay for it (seems kind of shady if...
