I spent 6 week in Darjeeling and found Joey's to be the best place to get a beer/spirit/wine and meet, not only fellow travellers, but locals too. Joey has fantastic taste in music so you'll often hear The Beatles, the Kinks, The Who, Rodriguez, Creedence Clearwater and many more playing through his sound system. The beer is ₹150 for a... More

A great find. We were the only customers due to the monsoon season. A great place for young travellers/backpackers but not for the more refined.

I like the way "Joey" makes you feel welcome. You will find many interesting people here and if you are from Ireland then Joey may treat you to an Irish whiskey- one sound man!

I've been there thrice, every time it was shut, phone no of pub doesnt exist. On internet pub timing is from noon till eve but even at 4 in after, it was shut. Joey please change your pubs info and provide a phone no that works. Really disappointed by pubs punctuality and out dated data. They dont even bother to... More

Joey and his staff make the experience. If you haven't sat at the bar and talked with Joey, then you're missing out. Otherwise the atmosphere is great, though hopefully soon going back to the way it was before the fire. Good luck Joey!

Its small, happening, crowded and yet a fun place to spend an evening and go on to the night. Filled with mostly foreigners with a sprinkle of Indian tourists. I and my host were lucky to get a place in the small pub but as the evening wore on I kept loving it more and more. The music in the... More

The atmosphere at Joey's Pub is wonderful. My boyfriend and I showed up before anyone else had arrived, and grabbed a cozy bench and table and ordered our drinks. The bartender was awesome and there was really fun music playing. The heater and dim lighting is very cozy, and the flowers on the table were a nice touch. The drinks... More

The place is packed with tourists (and its really small), but has a great atmosphere. We felt the prices were really expensive by Indian standards (we were in India for long enough to start thinking relative to local prices).
