Charming small restaurant where there`s always room for one more. Would recommend the spring rolls and dumplings! And they have great herbal teas.

push the door open, walk into the warm, cosy 06 table single room restaurant and you know you are at the right place. the entire family is always busy in the adjoining OPEN kitchen, the kitchen is if i may call hugely small compared to the number and variety of dishes they churn out in contained speed, never slow and... We were looking to eat something other than indian food. Our Tibetian cabdriver from the airport in Bagdogra to Darjeeling already advised it and we were not let down. Had springrolls, momos and chop sue, all veg. The portions were big, the taste was superb. As far as pricing i would consider this medium priced. But they have the right... More

We ate here several times. Could not stop going there. Delicious food! Very friendly and welcoming staff and price of meals are very reasonable. I highly recommend the pork or vegetable momos. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and all meals are available all day. I was delighted to have the 'special breakfast' which included 2 large fried eggs, 3... More

We had our last meal in Darjeeling here before heading down to Siliguri. Pity we had not come earlier during our stay. We were with local friends and they rated it as highly as we did, taking and sharing a large variety of dishes, all of which were delicious, hot and in large portions. Yes it was crowded out but... The only reason, I voted average was because of the lack of a washroom. The place was closed when I visited with friends and family at about 8:00 pm and we went back the next day. The food was great, especially the Mo:Mo but, when I asked for the washroom, I was told to perhaps try the public facility down... More

As a vegetarian, I had great choises of food in Kunga. Dishes are big and fresh, really delicious. Not to mention the kind women that work so hard there. Worth a visit for sure. Don't miss in in Darjeeling, it's the best option of meal to warm you up.

This is a tiny restaurant serves Tibetan food. I have read about it and it is highly recommended to try to momos (dumplings with chicken, meat or veg fillings) here. Guess what?? This tiny restaurant is just at the same roll of my hotel. We had our first dinner here. It is a tiny place which can max fit in... More
