I am Tibetan and I know how good Tibetan food should taste like. I went to Kunga because of the good reviews but was totally disappointed. The momos and noodles were nothing but salty and the amount of MSG was just too much. Honestly, I would prefer the momos in road side stalls! I know the restaurant setting is tempting... More

A small, cosy restaurant centrally located. The food is delivered very quickly but is mostly Tibetan food and exceedingly bland and ordinary. The prices are reasonable but I would rather pay more for food with flavour elsewhere.

There are a lot of different things to pick from the menu, so we decided to order for sharing. Did not regret that. Be sure to taste the Chicken Chilli Boneless. Good prices and nice staff.

Miss this little gem of a place at your own loss. Had a meal of chicken mushroom soup, pork fry dry and pork rice meal and everything was perfectly cooked. Delicately spiced to suit both Indian and western taste buds, garnished with fresh ingredients, food at this place is both homely and exotic. Ambience is basic and homely; though u... More

This otherwise cozy place is overpriced, and expect to be pushed out by about 7.30pm, even if you have not finished your dinner.

A fantastic little place with authentic Tibetan home cooking on offer. Situated a short walk from the mall and is open for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. The momos here are the best in Darjeeling! Enjoy them either steamed or fried. Soups and noodles are fantastic as well. It is a small Informal setting and you may have to share... More

This little place is small and shabby yet serves up delicious, well-cooked Tibetan noodles and steamed momos. The spring rolls are gigantic and could be a meal in themselves. For 100 rupees, you can get fresh orange juice here, or lemon juice, though it is sweetened. Service was quick though not overly friendly; we saw one western guy come in... More
