This place is nice, good views and convenient spot on the hill... but... The first time we ate here, we we shared the place with only one other couple, we were told momos were finished, along with anything else we tried to order apart from the aloo paratha, so we ordered two of those. We sat and waited almost an... More

Almost half way between the Governor's Place and the Zoo. The coffee/ tea might feel more refreshing if you sip it on your way up rather than down. The atmosphere, with the music, Marley posters and views of Darjeeling, is quite charming. The coffee was good and so was the burger (egg). No meat by the way. The place has... More

This is a very special place in Darjeeling. You shouldn't miss it. Ruma and Lily are charming and serve very nice food. I did a Trek through the mountains of Singalila N.P. with Rumba as a guide. It was a great experience!! This guy is one of the oldest guide in Darjeeling and everything was very well organized. I you... More

Like most other places we ate in during our Darjeeling trip, we chanced upon this through sheer luck. The name attracted us and we walked inside to some stunning views of the valley and Darjeeling town. The place is small, somewhat like a shack, but extremely clean and hygienic. The food was what left us extremely surprised. The momos were... More

Loved it in this little cafe. I stumbled upon itby chance on my way to the zoo. I had chai in the way there which was delicious and a decent glass full non of this thimble size nonsense. I stopped again in my way back for momo which were fresh hot & delicious. The owner is a wonderful smily guy... More

extremely mediocre food, good location and cheating owner. That about summarises the place,The shop wasn't open before 11 am, we found it open only while returning from the zoo.It is really a small woodeen shanty with good views on a clear day.It is clean though.though we were the only customers, they took 30 mins to serve tea!! We had to photocopy... More

Extremely medicore tourists, who don't even have the common sense to realize that in the month of June we have the heaviest rainfall. So, we usually open late. You talk of having tea only and how do you access the food? It was not really a photo copy machine but a printer of the laptop, we usually do the photo... More

How does a small roadside hut clinging to the side of a mountain slope get such a high rating on Tripadvisor? By serving the best momos in Darjeeling at dirt cheap prices. We walked to the zoo to discover it was closed (local holiday - for pandas as well as Nepalis) and decided a compensatory plate of momos was in... More

We were on our way to Happy Valley Tea Estate when decided for a stopover at this cute little café. What really fascinated me about this place was its location. Oh! How can I forget the wall with paper cuttings of Bob Marley? Anyway, as we sat and ordered for 3 cups of coffee, momos and fried noodles, the uncle... More

Rambo at Hot Stimulating Café welcomed us in out of the cold, despite appearing closed, for a really good cup of tea, and some delicious momos - ready as quickly as he could cook them! Despite the Bob Marley posters he wasn't able to play any for us... but we were treated to a great soundtrack anyway :) Slightly grubby... More
