This restaurant was suggested by one of my friend as authentic north Indian taste food center. And he was so right about the food served in this restaurant. This restaurant is located at 20th floor of the Hotel and gives you a nice view of the city. Unfortunately it was disappointing for me as the day i went there it... More

well we booked a table at the deck area, but it started raining before we reached there, inspite of that ,at our arrival ,our table was not ready in the main hall.the service is also very slow and lacks efficiency. The saving grace is the food, since we are all vegetarians,we ordered a couple of varieties of rice and panneer, which all were very fresh... Gone to the restaurant for my wedding anniversary. Had booked the poolside deck area for my dinner. We ordered some kebabs as starters and it was good. The service was excellent. We ordered some grills for maincourse. It was pretty ordinary. But they made up with their excellent surprises. First, they surprised us with a anniversary cake. Later they took... More

I love this place and have been a regular diner since 2006. It is undoubtedly one of the best places where you can relax and dine in a lovely breeze ( in chennai ;-). The open area on the 20th floor ( I think ) gives you the best view of chennai night line. The food is awesome and the... More

This restaurant, on the 20th floor of the Residency Towers Hotel, has a wonderful view of the city if you sit outside. Yes, it is somewhat humid and breezy, but lovely nonetheless. My daughters and I ate there twice. The food was tasty and the service was attentive but not hovering.

As a inhouse hotel guest i ate at this restaurant. The plates were worn out and not clean. We ordered for phulkas and they came cold and tough. We saw small cockroaches running around. When we informed a waiter he just stamped on them and moved on as if it was a small thing. This attitude would bring a bad name... More

the crown is located at roof top level offering a fantastic view of city skyline with soft sea breeze making the atmosphere bit humid but very enjoyable. The water table artifically created at the peripheries will give a relaxed feeling along with the breeze blowing all the time. The food taste and quality is average. Cost is not in agreement... More

It was our 2nd wedding anniversary. We reserved for nice and good location but we were placed in a corner. The food was average and the food service including taking the order was been too late. The location was ok but we can't able to feel the wind it was too hot and sweaty. The songs played by the music... More

Being our last night in India and we were staying at the Residency Towers, we decided to have our own farewell dinner with our travel companions at the Roof Top Crown restaurant. The food was very good and the setting outside was fantastic and we even got to see some fireworks. Service was very friendly and efficient.
