Its the ambience of the place that draws one to it again and again. We went for after dinner dessert and coffee. The place was busy with a private party going on. the person at the desk was so busy on his smart phone that we had to insist on his attention to figure out if the place was open... More

The updated version of Amethyst is amazing. Their new location is a lot bigger, and has a lot more to do. Got my sister's wedding flowers from their florist. Food here is still amazing, and it was exciting to know it's only gotten better. If you're sitting outdoors, you might have an issue getting your order taken though.

Known for its ambience, a visit here is always a pleasure. Be ready to spend some time here and enjoy the garden and the curios on display. The menu serves an interesting fare of international and local cuisine. Great food consistently.

A fantastic layout with a mix of boutique shops, outdoor seating and verandah seats. The outdoor setting takes the cake though, with a street lamps and lots of greenery with no interference from the courteous staff. A great place for a long and interesting conversation ofcourse with great food and must try coffee.

One of the few places inside the heart of the city where can can soak in the calmness and enjoy a Sunday brunch. Recommended ! Better to reserve as spots outside tend to be taken. Ample car parking available , prices $$. Overall 4/5 for the complete package. Cheer !

Heard much about the place but never made it till last Friday. We chose the one at Chamiers Road though wary of the traffic and the parking. But getting in was smooth with a valet coming in immediately to relieve you of your vehicle worries. We walked into the "boutique" and my wife and daughter were lost in all the... More

I always go to Amethyst to relax, have coffee, catch up with friends. Surrounded by lush gardens it's an oasis of peace in the city. Downstairs is a coffee shop. Try their yogurt mouse with figs and honey , especially if you are health conscious. Don't forget to visit the boutique upstairs with pricey outfits and some gorgeous jewelry by... More
