This restaurant serves high quality Indian food that is well prepared and well presented. In addition, it offers food from several parts of India and not just the South.

I did not expect much by way of veggie fare in a restaurant named Samudra, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. Very very helpful staff who give you good suggestions. Great Wine list. Their Dahi kabab was simply fantastic.

Try the grilled fish of the day with ginger butter sauce....just awesome.

I had the butter paneer masala and it was perfect!

The food was light, wholesome and not very spicy. The chef came around later and ahsred some cooking tips !

Fish is the dish to try in this part of India. The chef Gobu is friendly and imaginative. The only snag was that I was just too tired to stay up to sample it all. I hope to return soon.
