Oily and just not right

I visited th Zaika on the top Floor of Le Waterina. It is one of the best place to have a Candle light dinner and I can bet any couple will love it. The only problem however is the food, which is too oily and just average taste. The beer at least kept me going. However the view of the... read more

The restaurant sits just round the corner from EGA theatre.. opposite Right Hospital. The ambience is not the typical closed AC hall like, rather an open space letting you feel the aroma of the barbecued food, in contemporary styling. The place is surprisingly pleasant even during summers. Although they serve limited and some of the best Veg dishes, the menu... More

I have been to this place so many times and I have made sure that I have recommended this place to everyone who asks me for a non veg restaurant in Chennai. This is not a very upscale place, but good food is what you are looking for then you will surely not be disappointed. The Afghani Chicken is a... More

This place initially use to be good at quality and sevice, but now a days they run it as a MESS and no body cares to uplift it. The people who work there are rude, manner less and what not. I was told that 1 person cannot share his / her briyani with others and it cannot even be a... More

Have eaten just once at Zaika. Didn't feel like visiting again (see that's the problem in serving average food!). I can't remember what I ate, and whether it was good. In general, it's an avoidable place, unless you are desperate to shell out hard-earned money on eating average stuff!

Located right next to Beverly Hotel, this place serves very good parneer tikka butter masala, chicken briyani rice and butter nan. We have travelled all around india, and definitely found the food here to be one of the best that we have tried so far. Price are reasonable too!

We have been to this place several times. And we return for the cuisine! Had last been yesterday. Went early - just past noon. The place was quiet, with just the 4 of us around. Ordered Chicken Lasooni Tikka and Masala Papad, for starters. Chicken chunks were tender and well-cooked. Papad was a tad soggy, and the masala topping was... More

If you want to feel like a nawab for a while, then you have visit Zaika, which is located right besides Beverly Inn. The place is brilliant! Lovely ambience! Eating out there is not exactly an alfresco, but almost a similar experience! Many hotels claim they serve Mughal cuisine, however, for the 3 times I have visited this place, I... More

I discovered Zaika while wandering around the streets of Kilpauk a few years ago. They have a medium sized menu of predominantly Mughlai food. I have only tried a few things on the menu but they are all good. These days I usually have the Chicken Tikka Masala - I guess being a European in India I feel as though... More
