Being a Malayalee and from Goa, I was missing my fish curry. I was advised to try Ente Keralam. I was lucky as there was a Festival of Fish going on and all sorts of fish – red snapper, karimeen, crabs, pomfret were on display.. and placed adjacent was a large display with rates of fish dishes. The ambiance was... More

one of the best kerala style restaurant in chennai. If you are out of town for a long time and you really need to feed your tummy, you wouldn't really care about money. Taste is fantastic, service is good. lots of varieties, and all served in authentic kerala style.

The food taste was just not up to our expectations. It taste like a fusion cusine, even the common dishes were blank. The service provided was good. Please don't expect the real taste of God’s own country! ! !

We were in a large group and they had to open a room for us on the 1st floor which did not smell or feel fresh. This was a bit putting off. The service was good and the non vegetarian dishes very tasty. Was disappointed by the appams since they are normally excellent here.

Very good authentic Kerala food. However the price seems to be too high!! They offer a wide variety of dishes both Vegetarian and non=/-vegetarian and the malabar parottas and Prawn curry is great. Service is prompt and friendly

Well ente keralam is not for those who are budget weary. The ambiance is good, the location is good, the food is good, the only spoiler is the price. All the dishes we tired were tasty and had the kerala taste to it. The reason for the 3 stars is the price & VFM. There are similar joints like coconut... More

Must try! A nice & quiet ambience with a fair spread on the menu to chose from. This restaurant offers something for both veg and non-veg lovers. I got to try Vadai for starters along with Yam/ Banana Cutlet with hot pepper rasam.. Veg Biryani, Avial with rice, Malabar Parotha, peas and mixed veg sabji for vegetarian.. Our Non-vegetarian companions... More

We took our friends from overseas to Ente Keralam for their first Indian meal, and it was a good choice. They thoroughly enjoyed the Malabar parottas, the curries and the drinks. Service too was prompt and friendly. Only negative point----- the mosquitoes, which were extremely bothersome and exacted a heavy toll. The management needs to do more on this front.... More

We had been to this restaurant for Onam with 3 friends & their families and the sadhya served was terrible and the service was pathetic with filthy attitude of the service guys. The Sadhya is't worth the moneyand propbably the old Udupi or any of the Bhavan's should have been better. Never ever venture to this ENTE KERALAM.

I wait for this every year and have always enjoyed the experience. The food is perfect and truly traditional and authentic. Four different types of Payasams at the end of the meal are the Grand Finale. The restaurant gets extremely busy and one should book well in advance during this period. This leads to a rushed service where all the... More
