Anjappar seems to have taken over as the leading NV chain in South India. More importantly the food is great. If you are into South Indian food, go for the NV thali. Definitely worth it. I have gone to many many Anjappars around the globe. The food is always good.

I went to Anjappar for lunch. I tried the Mutton Sukha Varuval and some fish curry with rice. Both were nice. I also tried some Mutton kheema balls which were disappointing. But a friend of ours told us that the best Chettinad food is found in the Anjappar Restaurants in the city. Recently, when we were back in Chennai, my wife and I decided... More

I have eaten in Anjappar in Anna Nagar, Toronto, and New Jersey and they maintain their quality no matter. The food is awesome and tasty.

Anjappar Restaurant is a good restaurant for spicy Non Veg food lovers, if you are hungry and want filling food, NO, the proportions served here are very small and for tasting and not for filling, so order for 2 Biryanis in the place of one. The food is very spicy and the place is always crowded , there are some... More

Anjappar Restaurant have follows the culinary traditions and serves the real Chettinad Cuisine. Especially i love the Aatukkaaal Soup, NATTU KOZHI RASAM, Crab Soup, Nethilliey Varuval etc... etc... Great restaurant for non-veg lovers....
