We went to this popular eatery at lunchtime. Turned out to be a very crowded, noisy, quick turnaround, well managed no-frills restaurant- with a pricing to match the absence of fine dining experience. The food tasted incredibly good- would strongly recommend Chettinad Chicken with Kerala Paratha ( strangely latter was not on the menu, but available if you asked for it).... More

Delicious authentic chettinad food. Absolute value for money and courteous service. Sea fish dishes and chicken/lamb gravies are highly recommended. It is advisable to discuss the flavours in each dish before ordering to suit your palate. Ideal restaurant for dinner hang outs with friends or family members.

Horrible condition in which this place runs. Management doesn't give a damn if a person goes out with food poisoning. All they see is money...and 0 customer satisfaction. I had a dead mosquito floating on the top of my glass when i cracked a bottle of mineral water. All in return I got as a reply from the management was...big... More

Hotel is a big chain of restaurant and it is one of the best non-veg restaurant in Chennai. I like meals and biriyani here and it tastes better than any other restaurant.

Anjappar seems to have taken over as the leading NV chain in South India. More importantly the food is great. If you are into South Indian food, go for the NV thali. Definitely worth it. I have gone to many many Anjappars around the globe. The food is always good.

I went to Anjappar for lunch. I tried the Mutton Sukha Varuval and some fish curry with rice. Both were nice. I also tried some Mutton kheema balls which were disappointing. They have on their menu Ayirai fish curry (small lake fish) that I wanted to try but it wasn't available. The menu also had rabbit, quail and turkey. I... More
