Good food, bad ambience

Food was great, service was very good. However the ambience needs to be improved. Air conditioning was not great .

Our association with Palimar has been for more than thirty years!! We felt very sad and deprived, when a couple of years back, they closed down Palimar, and had Veg Nations instead. We never ventured to go there even once....but felt immensely happy when 10 months back saw some advertisements announcing the reopening of Palimar. Went there a couple of... More

It is a nice hotel, for both an impressive and appetizing breakfast that almost drags your lunch choice to the same joint if you have a day's work in the locality. This is a place that succeeds in proving that a vegetarian choice could be at least as good as a meet-combo meal.

Visited this restaurant after visiting their new branch in Pune. Great place for the best in south indian dishes like Mysore Masala Dosa, Idli's , Ghee Roast, Kadubu, & Onion Rava dosa. I am informed they have been here for many many years......

visited palimar for lunch on the 12th of May with some visitors from the northern half of the country. The food is nothing much to write about. The service was a pity and the AC wasn't on/working/whatever. The place was stuffy. Actually were relieved once we stepped out. Now that's saying something! Considering we stepped out mid noon, mid-may in... More

Good O'd syle food. Average ambience, not so alert service attendants are some of its follies, but you get some good food at the end of it, stay with the popular choices of the menu you will be on a safer wicket,

The food was truely authentic for a North Indian staying in Wester India. Kadabu as suggested by many was really delicious. The service was also good and the staff was helpful.

Visited this place after many years. The quality was just about acceptable. Maybe it was because i had dinner at almost closing time. The prices were deffinately high for what they offered.

Standard south Indian fare good for tiffin. Try their speciality - Rasam Vada.
