Very good Rajasthani Food

I have no idea what the name of the food are but by the suggestion from the waiter I mixed up food they were very tasty it is a expensive restaurant but if you visit Jaipur be sure to visit that hotel it's bit crowded on weekends since I went there on Saturday.

Since we couldn't go to Chokhi Dhani, we thought LMB could be a good substitute to enjoy authentic Rajasthani food. We ordered the most expensive Royal Thali. The only thing royal about it is the price. Hopeless food. Bati is not made fresh; even its shape is odd! Would not visit again

Laxmi Mishthan Bhandar (LMB :: http://www.hotellmb.com/) is a must visit for Veggie lovers who wants to taste rajasthani food! Its located in Johari Bazar and its better to go there by Taxi ! It was established in 1727 and is famous for : (a) PANEER CHEWAR ( Rajasthani Sweet) (b) PHINI ( Rajasthani Sweet) (c) CHURMA ( Rajasthani Sweet) (d)... More

Having heard that LMB is an institution in Jaipur, I visited them for a mid afternoon snack. The location is great, right on the main road, near Hawa Mahal. The food was decent, but the street food around Bapu Bazar was infinitely better. Especially since LMB charges 3 - 4x the price. (A mirchi vada was ₹50!).

We went here on a recommendation after a long day of sightseeing and shopping! We went for a mix of starters and shared one main course. While not vegetarians we really enjoyed the food and it is clearly more used by locals than Western tourists - we were the only ones in while we were eating. Would go again if... More

Had Rajasthani thali one day and a'-la-cart another day. Papad Mangodi soup was superb and should not be missed by anyone.

Vegetarian food. Their Thaali is famous. And for good reason. You cannot finish it. They say it is eat as much as you want but seriously, you cannot finish the first helping forget seconds. The food tastes very good and their dal, baati, churma is the best I've tasted, but you have to listen to their directions exactly to eat... More

Want to ruin your fun day out at Johri Bazaa? Eat at LMB! Everything from service, to the food, to the attitude of the management is simply disastrous! This place is not worth the hype, the wait and the bill you end up paying. Gone are those days when the reputation of this place put it on the ‘must-visit’ list... More
