Steam is an institution - dining in an old rail carriage in the grounds of Ram Bagh Palace. The menu has recently been revamped. While the pizza is still excellent, I would say that the other items are just average to good. But really it is the vibe and general atmosphere that you come here for really.

The food was really awful (e.g. broccoli & aubergine pizza as a main course?!) but the setting is fun, so long as you are inside the main carriage. The main advantage of coming here was for an after-dinner wonder around the Rambagh Palace and a drink in the Polo Bar. We returned to the palace the following evening for dinner... More

Very nice place, just a bit outside of the main hotel, organized around a former train of Maharaja and with a simple menu, focused on snacks, salads and pizza. We had one of those, thin and crispy, delicious as in Italy and a good change from otherwise very good indian cuisine. Nice terases if your prefer to enjoy fresh air... More

We went with a group of friends and kids, while the weather was a fabulous accomplice to the restaurant , since we were seated outside on the platform, the food was a tad bit average lacking in the flavours of the cuisine served there .. However the kids thoroughly enjoyed the whole concept on being seated next to a train... More

Loved the ambiance and setup of the place, the old train coaches and engine was a very nice and unique touch. We were in the lounge with friends and family. The menu was very limited but and good offerings. They only serve finger food and pizza. The food was good, liked their barrel potatoes, nachos and pizza. Iced tea was... More

the setting of the restaurant is very nice and special, the food is good, but not woooow, the customer service is acceptable/good and the staff are good. Probably value for money is not the best, but it was a nice outing with friends.

We ate here as a party of 8. The meal was complimentary as part of our Voyages Jules Verne tour. We stayed at the adjacent SMS hotel and walked through the lovely grounds of the Taj Rambagh Palace Hotel to the "station platform". The restaurant is located in an old railway carriage. It's a really nice idea and we were... More

What an amazing idea! Hats off to the F&B of Taj Rambagh Palace. One of the most unique dining inside a real vintage train. Even the food was top quality! A must must visit for anybody travelling to Jaipur....... seven stars

I had visited Steam with my family. It has been favourite joint for all of us. They have introduced new menu that is great. Their pizzas are best in town and may be in the country. You must try Keema pizza which was out of the world. It was something very unique and had an amazing taste. Don't miss it... More
