Will go again

This was my first visit to The Rajput Room at Ram Bagh Palace. One reason for going there was the grandeur and opulence of the property. But a more important reason was their much-publicised minimum charge. High charges generally mean high quality. We were a group of six, five non-vegetarians... read more

Breakfast is served here too and if you really want to feel special start your day here. The Manager is Manoj and you should ask for his recommendations. Kathy rolls and cease salad is a super lunch choice

For a palace property of the Taj, the food was extremely average and a very average north Indian restaurant would have much better food. I suggest going there only for the Rambagh experience and nothing else. Pasta was way below average. All in all the experience was good because of the ambience and royalty of the place. However one is... More

The food at the restaurant was very good. I did my research in advance of this trip to Jaipur and tried a number of Rajasthani specialties. They were all excellent. I'm not sure if it counts as the same restaurant, but on the weekend outside in the courtyard, the Hotel cooked kebabs in the beautifully landscaped garden, had a buffet... More

We stayed at Rambagh so this was a nice place to dine at the end of the day. The service and food was very good.

We popped in here, from the SMS next door, for our Christmas dinner and had a wonderful evening. The staff had fitted us in without a booking and made us so warmly welcome. The previous evening we had spoken to a charming lady who had hoped to get us a table on the verandah. On arrival we could not find... More

The main restaurant of Rambagh Palace, with a beautiful view on the garden and, in the far end, the fort on the tophill. Delicious breakfast, large fruit buffet with just about everything and a special note for very good egg benedict and just a great atmosphere.

I have never been too impressed with this restaurant and have wondered if the expectations I've had are unreasonable. Alas, a conscious effort to lay low there still didn't do the trick. The food first, ordinary to say the least, service that was borderline clumsy and lazy, all coming at a steep price, the alluring pictures of Maharani Gayatri Devi... More

This was a most disappointing experience. The Palace itself is amazing and the Polo Bar is very good. We had booked for dinner at the Rajput room and had been told when we booked about a) the dress code and b) the minimum charge of 25GBP per head but we were looking forward to the meal. When we arrived the... More

Rambagh never disappoints! Fantastic service and food. Staff provided great assistance to a friend who was on a wheelchair.
