It was a nightmare of a decision to visit the place based on recommendation from drivers, travel desk and tour operators (Don't know if they get commissions). Firstly the place has a serious parking problem especially on weekends. There is crazy crown and no discipline. You have to push your way through to the ticket counter to buy exorbitantly priced... Having heard a lot about it, we went to Chokhi Dhani with great expectations. It’s a spread over a large area , and designed to look like a rustic village, with artisans and ethnic performing artistes dotting the landscape. A few performances like magic shows were thrown in, to add to the revelry. It’s full of small shops, small eateries,... More

The food, for the most part, is tasteless, served half heartedly and quite overpriced. I wouldn't eat here again even if they offered a free night at their resort.

I went there along with few friends who came to see Jaipur from Pune. After we got ourselves registered with 450 per person. We were allowed to enter in the establishment. We were enjoying the scenic beauty while clicking our pictures when the manager objected saying that we cannot take photographs of the structures. We showed him the pics if... More

If you want to experience the great authentic rajasthani food and culture in Jaipur, this is the place to visit. Open from 7-11pm this place is a must tourism at it's perfection. It's on the highway away from the main city and the ambiance is worth the trip. Food is great and it's like a carnival out there. Food: 4.5/5... More

One can spend hours at this place . Looks like a rustic village with artisans, shops, artists and musicians , elephant and camel rides and pure ethnic food . I would go there again and again.

On 10 March, I visited Chokhi Dhani with a bunch of friends, hoping for a tremendous experience. However, since it was a long weekend, the place was jampacked. (Not any fault of the management though) We had to park across the road in a broken patch of land, which seemed to be under the control of the Chokhi Dhani management.... More

A great place to be to enjoy the culture of Rajasthan! Specially the local talents & very 'Indian' forms of entertainment - 'tamasha', puppet shows, rope walk, dances from various parts of Rajasthan - these were fun. One can also enjoy various rides - elephant, horse, bullock cart etc..It has been built very nicely considering huge no. of people visit... More
