Centrally located amongst other Lassiwalas, this is certainly the better one. Overseas travelers following the Lonely Planet tips surely keep M.I.Road and restaurants around like Niros on the itinerary, so just across is this roadside place with a milling crowd on the pavement. Lassi is a thick drink of churned curds offered in clay handmade earthen glasses with dollops of... More

There r 3 lassi shops but this one is the best on M I road, pls be careful and drink in this shop. The others r not as good. Lassi was served in a huge earthen glass and was sinful and tasty. Pure bliss in the jaipur heat, with a dallop of malai on top. Sugar is just perfect and... More

Apparently the original Lassiwala ( thanks to Tripadvisor ), ended up here for a lassi fix. It was really good. Best or not, dont know. But yes something worth every single cent. I like lassi and try to have it in the famous places as they are famous for a reason. Highly recommended for all. Try 2 if your tummy... More

The very first thing after reaching Jaipur was I visited the famous lassiwala on Mirza Ismail Road. Had read ample of reviews regarding this and so made this a priority on my to do list. There are 2-3 more few shops selling lassi but the genuine one is easily identified as the maximum crowd is pulled towards this. Initially ordered... More

Thereare 3 or 4 lassi-wallahs all in a row, this one at no.412 is apparently the original so we thought it was worth a visit and so it was. Tasty lassi (no fruit just chose size and sweet/plain/salt) served up from the little hatch, just join the throng outside and get involved. Any westerners worrying about their stomach all I... More

With three lassi restaurants in a row, they all try to get you in. Shreenath is in the middle and definitely worth a visit. It is very small, but we managed to get a spot. We ordered all three the mango lassi. Our first lassi experience and it couldn't be a better one! Very delicious. When going to Jaipur, you... More

I had a lassi from this historical and veritable institution one morning during my stay in Jaipur. My other colleagues from America were not sure eating such street food was safe but I can assure Westerners that it is tasty and I suffered no ill effects. The lassi I had was unsweetened (my preference) and was creamy, smooth and delicious.... More
