A great dining experience fit for the royalty. The ambience and restaurant setting was impressive, from the flowers, candles, chandeliers, and even the 22carat gold cutlery and goblets. The experience reminds one of high class dining during the Victorian era. The menu needs some time to navigate as it consists of different types of food in 4 different regions of India... More

Beautiful authentic Indian cuisine from across the regions, in an absolutely stunning setting. It's not often you get to dine in (what was once) a Maharajah's dining room, so I strongly recommend you take the opportunity when you're here! The service is impeccable while also being extremely friendly.

An extremely royal and beautiful Victorian era setting . Service and food was amazing, and dining with gold plated cutlery and crockery by Versace , an indulgence. My compliments to the chef , Mr Sharma ,who took time to visit each table and even generous enough to share some recipes with me. This was certainly a wonderful experience .

The dining room is soo grand that you will want to sit there all day and just admire the room filled with 100 year old chandeliers and 22carat plated cutlery! Anand the waiter is the best in town. Got a history of the dining room and menu when we sat down. You have to go. The food could have been... More

Amazing decor, great to entertain friends or business associates or just have a quite dinner. The food quality is amazing. Prices are high like any other iconic hotel in the world.

We dined at the Taj Savanna in April 2015. There is a minimum charge per person of about $50. We had no trouble getting reservations 30 minutes before dinner. As a matter of fact, only 3 tables were occupied. The setting was gorgeous and the service was excellent but we found the food disappointing. We had better meals in India. Now,... More

The Savanna Mahal was a truly magnificent experience. The flowers, decor, and general splendor were absolutely stunning, and the food was incredible. Even if you're not staying at the Taj, definitely make a reservation here, and grab a drink before at the Polo bar. The prices weren't as expensive as what you'd expect from the grandeur; we had similar prices... More
