Its a small place at a busy junction. Blink and miss but you won't. Simply because there is always a crowd outside waiting to be seated. Be it breakfast lunch or dinner be prepared to wait. At odd times you will get a table but they may ask you to share with other patrons. Its worth it. There is no... More

This is the only restaurant in Mumbai which delivers good and authentic traditional South Indian Food. Service so quick that you will be surprise to see people finishing their course of Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner in maximum 10 to 15 minutes irrespective of group size. I am a regular visitor to this outlet since my childhood and have not... More

I tried some of south Indian food in Mumbai, and always ended up missing my best Bangalore food places, till I tried Cafe Madras! This is the place to try out good south Indian food. Rassam Idli was heavenly with that perfect flavor of tamarind. Pesarettu, another dish not very commonly found here or often mistaken as Moong Dosa! I... More

A must visit every sunday, after mass at this restaurant for their dosas and idlis. Literally grew up on those. Simply love the aroma of the filter cappi. Over the years, the place has still not lost its charm. You arrive early in the morning and you get a place to sit else you tend to end up waiting for... More

Madras Cafe is a perfect place for Sunday breakfast. We have been there in the evening as well but the waiting is long. If you end up at the restaurant by 7.30 or 8 in the morning you'll easily get a place to sit. They have a range of south Indian snacks (idlis, vadas, dosas, pongal, avial) and most of... More

There is always a queue for this place, but the queue gets cleared quickly. Its a nice cosy place, buzzing with people all the time. The food here is extremely fresh and tasty I just lived the vada with rasam. The rasam was very yummy. Butter idli with podi was very yum too, a little on the spicy side though.... More
