A nice refuge from the Hermes quarter

There are vendors selling wares off the street in front of the Hermes & Louboutin stores. Just on the other side of the block is Jimmy Boy. Our first attempt to get there had us running in the hot sticky city in circles and when we finally arrived at 4pm, they just closed to prep for dinner... read more

This was the only time I tried Parsi food. I cannot comment on the authenticity of it but the food in itself was simply delicious. The dessert was just rightly sweet, perfectly balanced suiting my taste. The location is nice too. I would surely visit it again in my next trip to Mumbai.

I am a foodie and love Parsi delicacies so much. Recently I went to Jimmy Boy and really loved the food. People who love Parsi food should try this place. Patraa Fish, Salli Boti and Caramel Custard is mouth watering.

Ambiance: A quaint little restaurant, now renovated but still retains the old charm. The grandfather clock is my favorite. The upper storey is air conditioned. There is a take away counter on the other side and the baked goodies (pastries, cakes, mousses) greet you as soon as you enter. So you are actually thinking of what dessert you'll order even... I had heard about this Parsi restaurant and I wanted to enjoy a good Parsi lunch, I booked a table since it was Sunday. When I arrived at 1pm only one table was occupied; Other guests did come after 2pm. The atmosphere was scruffy. However I was not put off and ordered my favourites "Patra ni Macchi"- Pomfret fish, steamed... More

The Parsi cuisines here is good, they offer as part of the menu the "Lagan nu Bhonu" with good options to choose your course dishes. The Best thing is that unlike most parsi/irani eateries in town, this one is open on Sundays and on till late evening on weekdays. But I do personally prefer Cafe Britannia or Cafe Military over... If you are a non-vegetarian then this place is a haven for eating Parsi food. Being a vegetarian I struggled a bit with Menu but Veg Danshak and Brown Rice is a great option. Try out Mutton Danshak.
