We visited as part of a Mumbai food tour and tasted the pulao. It was delicious and well worth heading to Jimmy Boys for this alone. You should also try the ginger soda while you're there.

I had been itching to get to this place since I had heard mouthfuls of rave reviews. Finally, I convinced my continental cuisine lover husband to make this trip. Boy...I was glad I did so! I ordered the lagan nu bhonu for myself and A , the berry pulao. The bhonu started with a serving of fried sago wafers, a... More

Visited two days back with my family for lunch. Excellent parsi food, but portions are extremely small. Patra fish (pomfret) and saas fish (pomfret) were excellent and highly recommended. Curry rice was a disappointment. I think it is the only restaurant in south Mumbai where you get pomfret fish everyday. The place is well known for parsi food and has... More

The only restaurant where you can get a full parsi patra of mutton chicken fish rice dessert. Its recommended over ordering a la carte, unless your a small eater. Don't forget to ask for the ice cream soda and raspberry instead of a coke.

I was here for lunch on Parsi NY... Hehe any excuse to eat a Parsi meal! We ordered the set Lagan nu bhonu which is similar to the lavish meal served at Parsi weddings. It cost 850per person and was excellent. Good portions of food, very tasty and filling. They had a choice of veg and non veg, chicken or... More

There are better and more reasonable places in the vicinity for Parsi fare. The mutton pulao dal costing Rs. 360 + taxes contained hardly 3 to 4 spoons of pulao. Same with saali boti costing Rs. 340+taxes. Ambience was satisfactory, but for the price, we expected a much better dining experience!

I went to try the pure parsee delicacy, indeed the food was good and the ambiance was also very nice old style, but looking at the quantity I felt that it is too expensive. Must try is patra ni fish, and lagan nu custard.

There are other places with better dhansak and pulao etc etc... but the Dhan Dar patio here is really really the best.

It is not easy to find Parsi food these days in Mumbai. Jimmy Boy tries to fill the gap. Food is quite good, ambience is typical Parsi, service is friendly and prices are reasonable. We ordered Chicken Dhansak, Mutton Dhansak, Patra ni Macchi, Sali Boti, Chicken Curry Rice, Caramel Custard and Lava Cake. The meal would not be complete without... More
