Awesome Parsi Food...

The place is clean & the services provided were very crisp. The place reeks of old world charm of having food sitting on old wooden chair & table. The waiters were very attentive & your table would be regularly visited by the gracious host of 90 years age, Mr Boman Kohinoor, who will polite ask... read more

The gushing praise and TV media coverage directed us towards this establishment. I told my wife that we didn't look foreign enough to be seated downstairs. She was adamant. We were warmly welcomed and then shepherded up the creaky wooden steps to the less charming and cluttered upper area. Old world charm? Sure. New world maintenance? Sadly no. The place... More

The quality of food has really dipped to a large extent Had ordered beri beri Pulav, mutton dhansak and sali boti along with mutton cutlets and caramel custard to round it off Every one of them was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT caramel custard was stale and had a heavy creamy texture I remember first time when I went I saw rice... The Britannnia is an old institution in Mumbai. The owner a true personality. The atmosphere is busy and efficient. The food worth a try. The bombay duck Fry, the berry palao and the caramel custard fantastic. You will be regaled with stories of the British raj. I would recommend a visit there by all who visit mumbai

Whenever you are in Mumbai, you must not miss a Parsi restaurant and nothing is better than Britania. Anyways authentic Parsi cuisine is now almost extinct..only found in some very old, legendary status restaurants in quiet lanes of Fort Mumbai. Best part is that they stubbornly but admirably stick to their rules like opening up only for 3-4 hours a... More

i was very lucky to have my office in the next building of Britannia & Co. Best place for Authentic Iranian Food. Staff is very good with quick service. Ambiance looks like century old but has a warmth in it. Don't look for plush interiors, as you will get age old furniture & pealing paint, but remember that you are... More

Authentic Parsi & Irani cuisine. Ordered Veg Berry pulao and Veg Dhansak. Loved both, especially the latter. The veg patty can be avoided. Highly recommend the caramel custard. The place is quite costly, but you'll go back home happy.
