A Mumbai institution that didn't let me down! The only thing about this place is that the best food is the meat - so vegetarians need to practice some 'when in Rome'. My fave was the Bombay Duck...which is fish :)

This is a very good and famous restaurant located at Ballard Estate. This place has its own charm and history about Parsi cuisine. They are very good in non veg delicacies. If you are a non veg lover then this place is just for you. You can order chicken or mutton dhansak,Pulav, biryani or sandwich etc. This place need more decor and... More

Really if you have ever tasted dhansak in your life or know about it and are going to Bombay. You just have to visit this restaurant. The owner is about 93 years old and he still takes orders himself. Speak to him and he'll be happy to tell you everything about the restaurant. This place is about 80 years old.... More

Ignore the critical reviews, Britannia & Co is a must-go place in Mumbai. An institution since the 1920s and everything you would expect from a typical Bombay or Parsi Cafe. If you, like me, have no idea what to order from the Indian-Parsi kitchen, just ask the owner - an elderly eccentric who is always in da house - and... More

A typical Irani-Parsi joint with a legacy and cult following. So Ek Visit to banta hai. Pricey? Yes!! Expensive for over All Experience Ambiance? Nothing to write Home about!! Special Dish? Berry Pilao in various veg and Non Veg Avatars Other dishes like Dhanshak are also tasty. Portions are small. Pudina Chutney is heavenly! Very cramped and crowded during Lunch.... More

It is a vintage restaurant with elementary style and rundown interiors. Ordered the following items. Berry pulav was good with the berry giving a tangy taste and the caramelized onions providing crunchiness to the dish. This was the best dish that I had in this restaurant. Dhansukh with brown rice was basically thick dal with less spices. Patrani was steamed... More

I was drawn to this hotel by reading repeated mention in newspapers and Mumbai food blogs that the berry-pulao here is something to die for, and the hotel has its own old world charm. But after visiting this hotel, I was not at all impressed, and felt it was much hyped that what it deserves. I really loved their Berry... More

Located in South Mumbai, this restaurant serves some of the best non-veg dishes in Mumbai!! This is a typical Irani-Parsi restaurant having its own old world charm.. do try some of these dishes - Sali Kheema (Mutton), Sali Chicken, Mutton Biryani etc. Some of you might feel its slightly costly than its peer restaurants, but can assure that the taste...
