Excellent service, great food

Having visited Khyber quite a few times in the past, I had a chance to revisit this old favourite and am glad to say that it has retained all the elements that have endeared it to me. The food is mildly flavored and the portions are generous. What really sets apart the experience is the level of... read more

We had lunch here after exploring the city. It's a bit hard to find and not well marked but excellent food in nice atmosphere . We would recommend and go back. The tandoori was better than the curries and the nan bread was the weakest item we had. But the lamb and chicken tandoori dishes were excellent and service was... More

In the good old days thi was a landmark restaurant which served authentic Mughlai and Punjabi food which we use to frequent quite often. Over the last couple of years I must say that I have not been too impressed with the quality of food and service. The food is too oily and spicy for the average person and the... More

At one point in time Khyber used to be good. But now the standard has fallen. Taste is very average. We did not enjoy the food at all.

I went for a quick lunch with some business colleagues but I have been here many times. The food is first class and the whole experience is brilliant. The quality of the produce and the standard of the cooking is the best I have had in Mumbai. I cannot recommend the Tandoori Chicken highly enough and it is definitely on... More

My family dined here in June 2015. We had high expectations since the concierge made a fuss about this place. The restaurant is very pretty, with low lighting, exposed beams and architectural accents. But they are living off their former reputation as far as the food is concerned. This is Indian food, and my family loves it. But the chef... More

For all Mughlai food lovers this is the place to go.....Located at Kalaghoda bang opposite Rhythm House. Must try are the chicken badaami, boti kebab and reshmi kebab. One of my favourites is the Khyber Raan which, unlike the usual Tandoori Raan, is pot-roasted and cooked in a special sauce.

We had dinner here and were very pleased we did. Very tasty food, good selection & value for money. Staff really helpful. It is a large restaurant although split in to many areas so we didn't find it too noisy but it did have a nice ambience. Would recommend a visit.

Good ambiance. Testy Punjabi & Mughlai food. A nice experience if you plan a Sunday night tour of old Victorian BOMBAY. The roads are empty. Have a leisurely walk in the late evening and then for food come to this place.

One of the best restaurant for north west and Moghul period food. They have been able to maintain the medieval aroma and taste . Wide choice of meat and chicken items including kebabs. The service is very good ,with the management giving useful tips about the menu, very helpful. A must for food connoisseurs.
