Wow what a genuine Indian dining experience, the spices and the quality of the food was simply Devine. The history and ambience of the restaurant made the experience all that much better. If you venture to Bombay then make sure you experience Khyber!

Khyber has good ambience and a different decor. The food is quite expensive for the quality served and not a place you can go to frequently. The food is very average, went in with a lot of expectations... there are lot of better places to eat around.

After all these years the food has remained as terrific. will not be out of place to say that it is still one of the best North Indian places to eat in Mumbai.

My wife and I went to Khyber when we were in Mumbai as part of our honeymoon this February. We'd heard a lot about it and thought it sounded perfect for us. I think perhaps the hype surrounding the place (e.g. one guide booking say it is the best restaurant in Mumbai) didn't do it any favours, as we found... More

Khyber provided what a restaurant should - excellent food. I was travelling alone, but went all out and ordered 2 curries with rice and naan - way too much food for one, and I got nowhere near finishing, but was keen to try more than just one curry. I had a fish curry and chicken tikka masala, the meat quality... More

We were in Mumbai at the end of a 24-day trip covering Rajasthan and Kerala. We had 28 hours in Mumbai to at least get a flavor of this fantastic city. Our fabulous tour guide left us here for lunch after a jam-packed morning tour. It was delicious. We had tandoori chicken and veggie kebabs as starters, and two of... More

This is one of the classiest, best restaurants! The food is spectacular and reasonably priced. The mustard paneer is light and fluffy! Amazing...dreaming of it now. We went back two nights in a row it was so good! The ambience is relaxing and overall very well done. Extensive menu, but the mustard seed paneer is a must!

I went with my friends and had great authentic punjabi food here. The menu is very pricey, and quality of the food is excellent. If you are in South Mumbai, and feel like having big lunch, this is the place to be.All the great places are nearby, like taj mahal hotel,Gateway of India- a heritage site, colaba shopping market,Museum etc.

this place at fort is a kohinoor in the crown of the mughlai restaurants in Mumbai, the kebabs are tender and tasty served with a nice mint chutney the gravy dishes are lip smacking and finger licking a must visit for mughlai foodies
