Khyber really takes you off to the north west frontier with its themed ambiance and costumed waiters. The food is excellent. Worth it to spend a few cool hours in the place. The AC is turned up full so that on a hot humid summer day in mumbai , Khyber transports you to the cool cool mountains.

I visited Khyber on the recommendation of a local business contact I was visiting in Mumbai. I was not disappointed. It is a sizeable restaurant with good decor and ambiance. The menu had quite a wide selection of food dishes and beverages. Prices are probably high for Mumbai but for the international traveller they seem quite reasonable. The dishes I... More

The décor is good. The ambience reminiscing the Mughal period in India. The food also is Mughlai as they call it here. The service too is very good. BUT all said and done, its a place more for non-vegetarians. Its a family restaurant - a place where you can go in big groups or friends. The biryani, the spicy subzis,... More

Nice restaurant with decent food. Looks small fromoutside but internally they have huge seating arrangements. It has only indian food but good taste. Prices are definitely on higher side.

This is a vintage restaurant and is a landmark by itself at Kala Ghoda, near the Museum in South Mumbai. They specialize in northern Peshawari and tandoori cuisine, simplicity being the essence. Pathan cooking involves excellent quality of the meat and the chicken, and just a light touch of spices. The food here is mainly Dumbuc Khana (cooking in a... More
