This was by far the best meal we had in our trip to India (and we love Indian food!) We stopped by quite late in the afternoon, but they were happy to accommodate us and give us a table for their lunch service. It was a very nice, ornate decor and at the time we were there not very crowded....

Paintings & frescoes by M F Husain & Anjolie Ela Menon - two of India's most famous artists - create the ambience for a wonderful setting. The food is good - I had Chicken Tikkas with garlic Naan & prawns. Great meal & an unforgettable place. A must visit for every trip to Mumbai.
First time, went there few months back with friends. On their recommendation. And loved the experience. Very good food, awesome ambiance and agreeable service. It is highly recommended place for anyone looking for good food and a great time in downtown Bombay. This place has become my permanent eating destination ever since.
Gorgeous restaurant - small, intimate eating areas which flow from one to another so it never feels as big as it is. Amazingly good food and service that's so professional it never misses a beat. If you want to eat really good Indian food while you're in Mumbai go !
One of the best food I've tested. Quality, decor, staff courtesy and above all, the test - was amazing. Though a little pricy, considering some of the unique items they prepare, its worth the try.
Khyber has a traditional Indian decor with a modern twist. The menu is fairly extensive. Attractive options include the Pomfret (local fish) cooked in a dry green mas ala coating. The Biriyanis also good.

A friend recommended this place to us and I'm happy to pass it on. A five/ten minute walk from the Gateway, over the roundabout and down MG Road with the Art Gallery on your left. The Khyber is a couple of hundred meters along on the right opposite a fashion department store. It's difficult to find because the signage is...

We went to this restaurant for lunch as part of a cruise ship tour so we arrived with a couple of bus loads of fellow travellers. Surprisingly they were able to take care of us and regular guests without much trouble. The restaurant is divided into several rooms so it did not feel crowded. The food was very good and...
