This place makes a nice change from the cheaper eateries in a Colaba, like cafe Leopold / Mondegar. This was one place in Mumbai where I TRUSTED the food & drinks we consumed. Also, eating on the rooftop under the stars is always a nice treat :) Obviously for this type of quality , you have to pay the price.... More

Indigo was recommended to us by our hotel (Abode Bombay) and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is run in a fine-dine cafe format and serves French / European food. My wife and I are vegetarians and had limited menu options - understandably so since its a European restaurant. Our fried starter was a little oily for our taste but... More

Superior continental food--delicious minced tomato appetizer and chicken with truffles. This is a fantastic place to go after touring downtown. It's right behind the Taj Mahal Hotel. It's not crowded, and many people come and enjoy lunch alone, which can be good if you're traveling by yourself. It might also give you a chance to meet other tourists.

As a solo traveller to Mumbai and staying in the Colaba district, I was advised to drop into Indigo Restaurant by friends who have previously been. So glad I did, initially I was going to just have a cocktail, but ended up looking at the fine dining menu and had a 2 course meal. Wonderful friendly staff, delicious food and... More

Indigo is a gourmet restaurant which still serves a decent French menu. The only other comparison is the Zodiac Grill.

I ate at Indigo on my last visit to Mumbai about six years ago and had positive memories of that dinner. I wasn't disappointed this visit, although I only had one dish for lunch. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant- understated and calm and the service excellent - attentive but not overly so. I had the risotto with... More

Was recommended and we liked this place. Considering its supposed to be among the best in the known world we were surprised that we just walked in and got a table. Service and food was good but not special .

Had dinner in Indigo a couple of weeks ago… and I am not disappointed. I had the beef carpaccio as a starter which was just delicious – I lived in Italy for a year and had looooads of carpaccio and this one was right at the top! I then had duck and finished with a delicious panna cotta. All in... More

I went to this place with bunch of friends when we visited Mumbai. I have been to Mumbai earlier many times but not to this place. My friends recommended this place for its ambience. The place is superb in its own way. Very nice ambience, sumptuous food and very impressive menu, although bit expensive.
