One of the best Gujarati delicacies I've had

Panki Chatni, the seasonal Undhiyun, vada pavs, Missal pav, and much more. Will come back again for all this.

This review is for my visit along with my wife and 6 other friends. Being a Kutchi/Gujarati myself, this restaurant would be low on my list, unless I am going with a bunch of people who aren't Gujarati's...which was the case this time. First things first...if you are planning to visit this during a weekend/public holiday, make sure you either... More

Have been to Swati Snacks on numerous occasions, and the food has been consistently excellent. Try the Panki Chutney and hand-made ice-creams.

If you want to see a live example of people with the tendency of following blindly in others footsteps, visit this restaurant. The food is bland. The first dish on the menu, which is supposedly the best, is bad in more than 1 way 1] It's bland 2] It's frakingly and shockingly too little 3] It's ridiculously and surprisingly overly... More

My first memory of Swati Snacks, which is located almost opposite the place I was born, is just that - a tiny hole in wall that did Bombay style snacks like bhel, pani puri etc. About twenty odd years ago it did a complete make over and became the institution it has become. I visit this place each time I... More

I had heard about this restaurant a lot but the huge waiting lines deterred me from entering the place. Finally we did manage to go early in the afternoon and get a table. the food is just too good, some Gujarati classics and a lot of Mumbai street food in a clean and hygienic setting.

I was introduced here by local tour guide. I wanted to taste local street food but worried about sanitation. Here they brought street food into the restaurant so I could comfortably eat. Place is always full of people that you have to wait in busy time. Obviously it is a lot more expensive compared to street food but it was... More
