If you are looking for some authentic gujarati and Parsi food, this is the place for you . Panki , Dhanshak bhaat, kichdi are just a few names. There's a lot more to savour. Ambience is humble but service is quick. Overall it's a food lovers place.. You will come back to this place for more.

Went to this place after a long time and were truly disappointed. The dosa was tasteless and burnt. Handwa in the platter was so spicy that it could not be eaten. Cane juice was the saviour. For street food it is expensive. After this we decided not to go again.

Place is super clean, all 100% veg, a/c room. Just order whatever your finger points, try 3 dishes for every two people. Eat it as you like, if in doubt ask the Manager, he will guide you how to eat the mumbai way. Prices are great! Tell your taxi to take you opposite Bathia Hospital, you'll spot it right away.

My local Mumbai Tour guide took me here, (see Mumbai Magic for separate review). I enjoyed the chance to try foods that otherwise I would be nervous to try. My guide ordered several things and showed me how to eat sav puri - fun little puff balls, you poke a hole in and fill with the lentils, sauces etc. too... More

Perenially busy, this centrally located restaurant in South Mumbai has been around for decades. Its USP is its strict hygeine and maintenance of quality. You can sample all of Mumbai's street food, like bhelpuri, sevpuri, paani puri, pav bhaaji as well as some authentic Gujarati and South Indian delicacies, without worrying about getting the infamous 'Bombay belly" the next day.... Excellent Gujarati vegetarian street food in a super clean and efficient restaraunt. This is a hot favourite amongst Mumbaikars and visitors to the city. Its been around ever since i can remember and has only gotten better. The quality of the food has never disappointed, the only place where you can eat pani-puri without worrying about the water! Enjoy the... More

One of the most popular places in the city for Gujarati snacks, or "snakes" as they call it :) The panki and the Gatta Nu Saak along with the Fada Ni Khichdi is absolutely THE best I have had anywhere, even better than the ones at home (Sorry Mom). It is hard not to find waiting at any time of... More
