I was traveling in India with friends and just happened upon Leopold and had an absolute blast! The beers kept on coming the atmosphere is fabulous. We had so much fun that the next night we went again and brought several friends who could not make it the previous night. I purchased a tee shirt and whenever i pull it... More

This was on my To Do list when I visited Mumbai last month and turned out to be worth rushing for it. Went with friends and ordered Tower with snacks. Service is extremely fast and staff is excellent. We had to leave soon and service was amazing in that sense. Looking at t he interior one can get the feel... More

So this is supposed to be the oldest cafe/pub of Mumbai, a piece of history, an institution. There is an open section downstairs, and one on the first floor with Aircon, that one does not have one single window, is very dark, narrow and feels a bit murky. They serve drinks and "pub food Indian style", tasty, and good with... More

After a hectic round of sight seeing in the Colaba area we decided to take a pit stop for lunch at Leo`s, as it is lovingly called.it is more than 140 years old when the current managers family left Iran to set up a restaurant here. You notice the age as soon as you enter you see grand pillars on entry... This place is a must for solo travelers and travelers travelling in a group. Order a pitcher of Beer and Thakur, the barman, will oblige you with a smile and munchies. The music is old school classic rock and the food is as good as it gets.

Located close to the Gateway of India and in the middle of the Shopping Zone (Causeway), the Cafe is like manna for tired husbands. While the wives can be busy with their shopping, you can just walk into the cafe with your friends, have chilled beer and snacks and have a great time. The atmosphere is abuzz and the decor... More

Great place - at Colaba, near the Gateway of India, good food (snacks and finger food, no main course). Affordable liquor. Great crowd (Expats, tourists, Indians alike). Nice place to hang around with friends on a Friday evening.

...yes....not just a restaurant or an old cafe. Popular amongst tourists...a place known more for its casual and rustic ambience, old world charm, good food and beer. We like the breakfast here though.... And the bullets embedded in the wall from the Nov 26 Mumbai terror strike bring a tear to the eye.
