Brilliant Maharastrian cuisine

Sabudana wads, Kothimbir Wadi, Misal and a lot more. True Maharashtrian masalas :) Do not miss the 'Piyush' (yogurt with mild spices).

This is one of the best places where you can have mouth watering varieties of breakfast. Thi restaurent has value for money. Also their speciality is that on days of sankashti i.e fasting they have special dishes for fasting. Sabudana wada, Bhagar...........yummmm.....to name a few.

Maharashtrian fare at it's best! Prakash is located conveniently near Sena Bhavan on the main road and is hard to miss. There is no air conditioning, which could be a deal breaker especially on a typical humid Mumbai afternoon. Also, some dishes are not available on all days. For eg- Masale Bhat is not made on Wednesdays. So, confirm once... More

It is place where you cannot stop before 2-3 servings at least. The mouthwatering Sabudana wada can be best to start with. The chatney that comes with it is just out of the world. Kharwas is a fastest moving item and ensure that you are there during the first half to grab it. Kothabir Wadi and Watana wada are worth... More

This must be the best place for Maharashtrian snacks/tiffin in Bombay (You don't get a thali kind of meal.) Its pull is very strong : I went there thrice during my short stay in Bombay! My favourites here are the sabudana vada, poha, misal and thalipeeth. The prices are equally mouth-watering. If I write any more, my tummy will start... More

This is the name I'm hearing since my grandpa's time. Recently, the outlet has shifted its location just a 50 meters away from where it originally had been. It is a non ac joint with all maharashtrian waiters. Samosa, sabudana wada, thalipeeth, misal are some popular maharashtrian savouries best relished at Prakash. Don't hesitate to share a seat on already... More

Been visiting this place for more than 20 years now. Its famous for its Sabudana wada and Piyush. Bhajani wada, Alu wadi is good too. They also have traditional maharashtrian meals like masale bhat, dalimbi usal, etc. Again one of the places which has maintained their quality and taste over the years. Place is bit cramped up and sometimes you... More

This is a must if you are in the area. I have been visiting this place since I was a kid and the food taste and quality is just the same. A recent visit brought some good old memories back. Sabudana Wada is the all time favorite..!!

The place you would want to go to after your darshan at the siddhivinayak mandir in the morning. You get varied options of marathi food which is amazing. You should visit the place
