We went on weekday for lunch. The restaurant was fairly crowded even on a weekday. We ordered for tomato rasam soup which was medium spicy and good in taste and ordered South Indian appalam along with soup. Then we ordered for palak medu vada which was amazing and worth trying it!These are medium... read more

This was the first time I tried South Indian food and it was the best first experience anyone could hope for. The service was quick and efficient, very pleasant. The food speaks for itself. For the travelers worried about stomach issues, this place is absolutely safe and clean. You will love every minute of it and no issues after. Definitely... More

This happened to me about 7-8 months ago but I forgot that I could mess with them on Tripadvisor and let people know about their attitude. I was there with my father for dinner. The food that they serve is good and the portions are large. But where this establishment takes a knock is the service. The waiters hardly smile,... More

Let me start off by saying that there is no such thing as authentic south Indian food. Each state of South India has its own culinary flavours. However the closest that you can get to the tastes of Kerala and Tamilnadu in Andheri West would have to be Banana Leaf restaurant. For me a few things really stand out. The... More

This was the first time we went to this restaurant. We had Oion Rava Masala Dosa and its very nice. However we also ordered a south Indian thali and curd nice but that was not authentic south india. I would recommend dosa as they are very nice. Average ambiance and quick service!!!

We were there for Lunch. Excellent variety, good quality of South Indian Food, and very good service. Can always recommend. Appams and Palak Medu wada were excellent. Keep it up. This is the nth time we visited.

Looking at the queue on the weekends outside the restaurant, it always seemed to be a great place to be there. However the perception changed once we experienced. Since on weekend its always crowded we had been there on a weekday for dinner. The seating arrangement looks congested and the AC was also not working well. The seats and surroundings... More

We went to this restaurant on Sunday for lunch. The place was absolutely jam packed which I guess says something about the quality of food. Pure vegetarian - South Indian style. They had a lot of unusual dishes and I have to say that most of their dishes were tasty. The only disappointment was the rice plate. The dosas were... More
