Great Bong Food... Value for Money

A nice and cosy place with limited seating, will give you the feel of a small well maintained eatery in some North Kolkata lane. Despite the lesser seating capacity, its never chaotic. Waiters are friendly and never in a rush. Owners, especially the lady is always smiling. The food is good. Its served in simple crockery and reasonably priced; it never pinches your pocket, trust me! The paintings and photographs they have hung all around give you a great feel about Bengali cinema and... For die hard Bengali food & Kolkata Mughlai food lovers, this is the place to be. A small yet cosy and comfortable restaurant. They have done it nicely and it gives u feel of being in Kolkata with an amazing staff and decor. Definitively good food and reasonably priced too as per Mumbai standards. Love going there again and again... More

Tempt your taste buds to some finger licking Bengali Cuisine at Calcutta Club right here in Mumbai. Try their fresh water varieties of fish and also ask for the dishes that are served in mustard gravy. If you unfamiliar with fresh water fish, do make it a point to take a Bengali friend along with you.

I went to this restaurant with a bengali friend and I was amused how she was raving about this place (usually people never appreciate their own community food - like a Tamilian wont appreciate Idli Dosa outside as it is a staple at home). Only once I had the fabulous food, did I realize the amazing food here. One must... More

I was here last evening and thought I should try something different than the usual (all the dishes recommended) fare. And I was not disappointed. Whilst I still had the mutton kausha, I tried their chicken dum biryani and it was good. It is not the traditional (if you expect one that you would get from an eatery influenced by... More

Located in the Oshiwara area of Andheri West. The ambiance and interior decorations are pretty good, interior walls are decorated with still life of Bengali movie memorabilia. Restaurant offers wide range of authentic Bengali cuisine in starters-main course-desserts. Recommendations: Aam pora sharbat, aloor jhoori bhaja, shukto, bhetki paturi, prawn malaikari, kosha mangsho, and in desserts rasmalai, kheer patishapta. Price is... More

One of the best Bengali food in Mumbai, specially mustard hilsha & vhetki paturi is awesome. For your sweet tooth you must test the "Rasomalai" which one of the best here. Foods are also value for money here. Perfect for Sunday lunch

At Andheri area this is a great place for authentic Bengali food. Worth of every penny you spent. Rs.800 is sufficient enough for two peoples lunch. Its must visit place for people who love Bengali food.

Anyone who wants to taste Food of Bengal, must visit The Calcutta Club in Mumbai. Not fancy dishes, but tasty. I can go and eat everyday without getting bored. Go before lunch & dinner time to find an empty table.
