We frequent this place quiet often infact at least twice a month ,for typical bengali dishes like mocha, shuktho, begoon Bhajia The fish curry is tad oily & most times the fish is over fried guess that's the difference between home food & restaurant .The piece de resistance are the desserts. Service is ok ,ambience is moderate ,

Reasonable price. Good atmosphere. They play good old bengali music and one of their walls is decorated with pictures of veteran actors. I liked the Fish Fry here. They give you a bowl of kasundi (mustered chutney) with it :P

The quest for authentic Bengali food outside the meandering alleyways of Calcutta & outside the kitchens of Bengali households continues...and it is safe to say Calcutta Club does not disappoint! Located in Oshiwara its very easy to spot. The ambiance is simple, the walls are filled with pictures from Calcutta, of scenes from the city & from various well known... More

If you crave for Bengali food (and specially if you are an east bengal one), you should visit Calcutta Club once (near Oshiwara Police station). Its a small joint but definitely a well maintained one and gives you a bengali experience with Photographs and Music. The variety is huge and not available anywhere else in this city. The food is... The restaurant located at Andheri West- at Oshiwara, right next to the popular Shreeji's Udipi eatery, is completely the most VFM experience in the Bengali-Oriya cuisine. The place is clean- if not overly fancy. There is reasonable space for parking, outside, or across the wide road. The staff is always cheerful, and helpful and warm. The service is a teensy-bit... Well, I have been to this place in Malad twice and have ordered from here once. The taste of the food is good, nothing brilliant, but quite above average. What it does is that when you are craving bengali food, it will give you that, nothing more, nothing less. But that comes at a price. This place is pricey no... More

Some of the dishes here are unique and not found in most other Bengali restaurants at least in Mumbai. The place is quite small and has very few tables it will be best if you go early. The food comes in plastic plates and bowls and the water too!!! Not something I liked to eat from. We began with a... More

I was in this restaurant only or 2 mins and I realised that its a place that I cannot sit in. I'm totally in for good food where ever it exists, even if its on the road but this place simply stinks. I tried the biryani once for home delivery and thought it was ok and I could make a... More

Small joint, but awesome tasty authentic Bengali food. Biryani is truely calcutta style biryani... Dimmer devil, fish fry, macher chop are awesome. The place with the food and some kolkata pictures around the walls take you on a nostalgic tour. A must go joint for all those bengali's who miss Kolkata
