My favourite thali in Bombay

What makes the thali here so special is that it tastes like it's come from the kitchens of one of my aunts in Ahmedabad - it taste fresh and authentic, like few other thalis do in Bombay. A must have for visitors and residents alike.

I had gone to the place long time back but still cherish the Rajasthani/Gujarati Thali specially during /////aam Ras/Mango season. In fact my observation is you find more of foreign tourist there who want to enjoy typical veg. dishes. Previously there was very bad system of seating but later on i found that they made it modern. Since it is... More

Thakkar bhojanalay is the one top three contenders when one wants to have a thali. A thali is essentially a sampler and has at least 14-15 delicacies of mainly Gujrat ( a state but also known for vegetarian food and some of Rajasthan. Very well priced it's great value for money, very moderate ambience. Ideas is to have a big... More

Must visit when in Mumbai for gujrati and rajasthani thali. Very nice family place though getting there is troublesome with no parking place

Whether you are vegetarian or non vegetarian this is one vegetarian thali meal you do not want to miss out on! The quality of the dishes served (and the quantity!) more than make up for the poor ambience and low-end setting. It's location and driver-challenging approach leave much to be desired, but it certainly does not stop us from going... More

Absolutely excellent food and staff is very helpful in understanding what is it you're eating and what are the best combinations. Cheap too, all you can eat for 500 INR and mind you, this is not buffet, this is just art. Also, it's rather hard to find - might be useful asking on the street when you're in the vicinity.

I had heard a lot about this place and when I finally went there, it was nothing short of amazing. Its a little difficult to find, but once you are there, the ambiance is quite good. However, little will prepare you for the amazing thaali that they serve. 10 bowls of different sabzis and ghee laden rotis, bakhris and puris.... More

In a lane of paper/ stationary merchants, up a flight of stairs is this incredible place of incredible service and incredible food! All superlatives apply especially to the "kheer"

This place is no frills attached come eat and go you get awesome. Veg Thali unlimited variety to eat situated in the busy kalbadevi road near textile markets of mumbai. If you are lover of Gujrati marwari and Rajasthani vegetarian food then do give it a try if you are near the place

A thali place with a long history. It offers a sumptuous thali with a veggies, dal, sweets, farsans, salad, pickles, buttermilk, almost everything u can think of. Don't plan to work after a lunch here.
