Bhagat Tarachand is one of the fantastic kitchens in town and Shvatra continues that tradition. The food is reasonably priced and one always walks out satiated. The service has reduced a wee bit over time, but the food is awesome. We are regulars there and love the food here.

If you love Gujarati food, look no further. This is the best place for you at R City. Good: Food was awesome, specially makke do roti and sarso da saag. Try Rotlo as well. Chhash was superb. Reasonably priced. Expect 300-350 per person for a group of 9. Super fast service. Fully vegetarian restaurant. Best for family. Not-so-good: Waiting time... More

Nice homely food. The service is very quick. Reasonably priced too. Our favourite eat-out. Try the sev tomato and dal ka sheera.

The waiting outside this restaurant is a good indicator of the food they serve. Excellent vegetarian food, all the dishes are well crafted, and made very simply. Some dishes are made with a lot of ghee, but then it says so in the menu if thats the case.

Very nice punjabi subziz. Everything I have tried so far is good. I specially like their Dal Fry ... which is a must have for me whenever I go there. Their USP is Spicial chapati in Ghee / Butter which is just awesome. Only at shwatra I take CHapati with Panjabi subzi instead of Nan / Kulcha. As much as... More

Not being a big fan of eating home-style North Indian food at a restaurant, I was in for a pleasant surprise at Shvatra. The food is delicious, less oily (except Butter Phulkas which is a must-have!) and a great eatery for people who have dietary restrictions or are just plain fussy. My grandmother who doesn't eat half a dozen things... More

The food is good, gives some touch of home cooking. Far less oily than the original Bhagat Tarachand. Jalebis are a must order Avoid weekend nights as gets too crowded and noisy, if u can come on a week day for dinner, u will enjoy more. But to give credit the service does not slow down on weekends, the staff... More
