Gajalee is located on Hanuman road, Vile Parle East. It has a valet parking. Now coming to the food. Here the food is not all that cheap but there are certain delicacies that you must try. My personal favorites are: Tisrya Koshimbir with poli Surmai Tawa fry Bombil Fry chicken or mutton Dum Biryani (Must try)

This restaurant serves the authentic malvani seafood. The bombay duck fry is a must have. Its taste is just out of the world. We also had tandoor crab which was delicious. Surmai curry was very tasty also. The staff is very helpful and guide you for your order. They show you the fish beforehand which is quite great.I went for... More

During my recent visit to Mumbai, I got a chance to visit Gajalee in Vile Parle. Simply put I loved everything we ate. It was my first attempt to try the authentic Malawani food. It started with Solkadi and it wasn't like something I had tasted before. It really has a unique taste. Gajalee is known for its reliable quality... More

Packed cover to cover the appearance gives you the first impression as to how busy the place is. We went for lunch and it was an awesome experience! recommend a start with Solkadi (a local coconut milk drink) with Bombil fry (a local fish called Bombay Duck). The fish is fried in a batter coat but, the insides are tender... More

Don't go by the appearance, its got good food, friendly staff, place is quite and the ambiance is quite mellow. The food is awesome, i was there for dinner with my friend and was quite late. In-spite of being late we were served awesome food, sea food and other non veg food. The bombin fry or the Bombay duck is... More

After ordering my food if took about 40mins for my food to be served and the worst is the prawns and lobster turn out to be cold from the moment it came out from the kitchen. Found a string of hair in my food and hygiene is definitely a problem in this restaurant. I will definitely not be returning to... More

Although it is essentially a sea food restaurant. A vegetarian like me loved the veg stuff like paneer burji. Portions are quite large. Kokum is a must have. It was a weekday afternoon and still there was a long queue outside waiting to enter.

On appearance the restaurant is not done justice. We walked in and were greeted my warm, friendly staff who attended to our every need. The food (prawns in pepper sauce) was to die for. My sisters a vegetarian and her bhindi was amazing! I'm back in London now, and I'm craving the food! Can't wait to go back and eat... More
