Good food, right off the starting blocks. And, the staff were very helpful in suggesting items off the menu based on what we told them we'd like to try. Good pricing too, and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Mumbai should come here, rather than go to a pretentious over-priced over-hyped place like Trishna.

This sea food restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is truly amazing, the service is polite & quick. You have a choice of ordering with alcohol. Ambience is very pleasant & cosy. For the excellent quality of fish, etc. the prices are good.

As you have read from other reviews, this place is hard to spot. But it is absolutely worth it. A friend of mine(who knows the owner of the hotel) took me to there saying it serves very good seafood. And I wasn't disappointed. I had Surmai Fry, Prawns Kerala style and a crab preparation(without shells), and Neer Dosa - all... More

We had dinner here twice during our stay and on both occasions it was truly excellent. Try some Kerala prawns to start with! As well as the prawns, we had a variety of seafood dishes, including some tasty clams, grilled fish fillets (which were nicely spiced), mutton kundapor (very spicy) and a spicy chicken dish (the name of which I... If you like Kerala style of food this is the place to go to. Try their curry mien, and pepper fry, excellent.

Finding it is the hardest part of this superb restaurant (instruction to cab drivers: Tamarind Lane, near Central Bank of India on MG). Its fish menu, dominated by Kerala tastes, is unrivalled and its serving is simple. The food, cooked perfectly, was well blessed by the Sula range of wines. Service was flawless and polite. It was quiet and discrete... More

Ankur is a little hard to find but worth it, Peterpiper's review below has excellent directions. Despite visiting on a dry day due to the elections the place was busy and 90% locals which is a good sign. The service was first class and the food fresh, tasty and quite unique. The tandoori paneer was especially tasty. Very reasonably priced... More

We visited here the night before the election, unfortunately when the city was dry! We followed the recommendation from other trip adviser reviewers and were not disappointed. This is a relatively smart place (I did not recognise the criticisms of some reviews) and more importantly the food is delicious and service exemplary. It can be quite tricky to find so... More

I went here with my uncle and brother,we had mostly ordered sea food dishes, the fish was not cooked inside and was a bit raw. There was a automatic room freshener jus above our table and it was spraying the scent on our plates once in 20 mins which was bit of a put off. Otherwise the taste and service was good.
