Good Budget food at very low price

Pancham Pureewala is located just opposite to CST Station.Just forget the Menu & eat their Deluxe Thali, Which serve with 3-4 type of variety of sabzi & Masala Puri & other staff. Veggies are properly cooked & Very taste. I personally like the food.

I always visit this place whenever I go to Mumbai. Its just opposite VT station. Cleanliness is not so good but taste is awesome; hard to find a place on table during peak lunch & dinner time.

A taxi wallah pointed this place out to us, across the road from CST. We ahead our first meal in India there, then returned for our last many weeks later! There are numerous Thalis between 60-130rs. Pancham thali consisted of puris, panneer pulao, 5 sabzi/dals, papad, dahi vada, gulab Jamun and lassi. Massive! It's busy, find a seat and squeeze... More

Pancham Pureewala has a nice menu, totally different from any other restaurant in Mumbai. This makes it special. Price is also reasonable. Most important, location is easily accessible, walking distance from CST. A must go place to taste variety of Poore Subbzi.

I was told that this place is nearly 150 years old and still going great, If you love puri-sabzi this is finest joint in mumbai. Food is served is fresh and hot, with real prompt service. Do try masala puri with sabzi. This joint is open late night and you will find crowd even at 1:00am.

Even before the first railway locomotive chugged out from Boribunder (present day CST),in a small bylane of the Fort area in Bombay, an enterprising man from Tundla (near Agra) set up a cart selling hot puri-sabzi (Indian style fried flatbread and mixed vegetable curry) prepared in the typical UP style .Over time this transformed into Pancham Puriwala - one of... The combo meals & the eagerness of the staff to help you to make your choices..... I ate there twice on the same weekend.... with the same company.... I guess that says a lot for the place....

Maybe Tarachand Bhagatram has equally good or better puri and aloo subji than this place. But I doubt it. I had known about this place for years, and never made it there until today. It was surprisingly not crowded, even though it is just a hole in the wall with very limited seating on 2 levels. But grab a seta,... More

The kadi served in rice plate is excellent. You can also order for extra... More

Only visited this restaurant after watching NDTV 'Will Travel for food' documentary whilst in the UK that had the presenter, Aneesha Baig sample the food here. Visited at lunch time and had to wait on the street for a table as the restaurant was full of Mumbai men having the lunch from the inexpensive, by western prices, extensive menu. I... More
