yummy..delicious foods

One of best sea foods we have ever had. Truly, delicious fish preparation. We liked the ambience of the cafe. Staffs were courteous and always eager to help you. We have ordered for Malabar Fish Curry which was amazing! We will surely come back to this restaurant.

I've been visiting Konkan Cafe for nearly five years now and I have yet to have a meal which doesn't send me off grinning. I usually opt for one of the thali meals, they come in seafood, non-veg (chicken or mutton) and vegetarian versions. Along with a range of breads, an appetiser soup a delicious desert and as many top... More

Have visited this restaurant a few times now. They serve a delectable sea food cuisine that encompasses the Konkan region right from Mumbai - Goa - Kerala - Mangalore. The service as usual is impeccably Taj and prompt. Some of the dishes to savour are the Meen Pollichathu, The Denge Pepper Fry, Malvani chicken curry to name a few. The... More

An excellent place to savour the Konkan cuisine. Ambience and service lives up to the reputation that the Taj hospitality boasts about. The menu is pretty elaborate with food ranging from the Konkan coast till the South of India, namely Konkani, Goan, Karnataka and Kerala dishes. Along with our aperitifs we ordered Thechyacha jinga, Tawyache Bombil which made excellent starters.... More

This restaurant is located on ground floor itself. I wanted to have seafood when we were shopping in South Mumbai... my friends suggested this restaurant and that’s how we landed at Taj President. I am glad we did go ahead with the recommendation as the food was so scrumptious. The fish thali, fish fry, prawns.. everything’s is just too good.... More

I end up going to Konkan café each time I have a craving for excellent sea food, in coastal cuisine. Their menu is quite elaborate and the seafood catch is fresh and served with delicious accompaniments. The curries and meat and vegetable preparations are finger licking. The interior is warm and traditionally southern, the food is served in copper plates... More

The food here is excellent, it's South Indian and I would say authentic. The waiter was knowledgeable on the food and helped us choose dishes to create a well balanced meal. Lots of very different flavours, varying degrees of heat to suit all palates. Whilst you are waiting for starters you are served a plate with 3 dips, and these... More

Very good konkan food. Their curries are very good & so is their malabar paratha. I ahve also tried their thali which is good to try if your hungry. Their desserts - jalebi & their paan shots are quite a good end to a hearty meal.

Maybe it's because I'm not familiar with Konkan cuisine, but I wasn't swept away with the food at this very atmospheric and well-decorated restaurant. The portions seemed small. Maybe we were supposed to order as though it were a tapas restaurant?
