Excellent food and service, really it is the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. the only downside was that even with dinner reservations we were seated in a small section with loud families and compulsive mobile-phone users which detracted from the desired ambience.

A little too expensive for the quality of the food. The quality was worse than most Chinese restaurants in the UK but for India it was good. Service wasn't great either in comparison to other places in the hotel

Lovely atmosphere , senior professional wait staff, starters were delicious as we got a selection, we kind of wished we had only gotten starters. My main has tiger prawns with a ginger sauce. Prawns were very tough and over cooked, the sauce was disappointing and lacked any real flavour . 140 AUD for an average at best meal. Disappointing.

This is my third visit at G.D, and this time I'll hade decided to eat a variation of dumplings and Dim Sum. The kind waiter help me to choose what to eat. I'll hade the sea bass and truffles. Crab claw. Crispy prawn. Broccoli, pakchoy, asparagus and wild mushrooms. It's 3 pice each. To drink: a glass of Chardonnay. Everything... More

My wife and I were visiting Mumbai in the week between Christmas and New Year and went to the Taj to visit the shops. It was around 7:30 PM and we felt like eating Chinese. We have stayed at the Taj before and were familiar with this restaurant. First, we appreciated that they were able to squeeze us in even... More

Correctly rumored to be perhaps the best Chinese restaurant in Mumbai. Reception, service, food and atticate of the staff makes this restaurant outstanding. Starter menu, soups, and the entree all three excellent steps in fine Chinese dining. I would keep away from the desserts. High prices may deter some but it is worth a visit. Excellent
