New Martins was recommended to me by a buddy of mine and to be honest I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the place. It literally is a hole in the wall... Prices were crazy low to boot! But once the food came, all questions were put to rest! The steak, sausages, other goan food... all great stuff (Greasy,... More

New Martin’s Restaurant This is a tiny Goan eatery run by a Mangalorean gentleman. Here you don’t go for the ambience or decor but for the hearty Goan food – the kind you get in a typical Goan household. The dishes available for each day are written on the blackboard on the wall, and as each item gets over it... More

Visited this tiny place on 14.12.13 , n it is not shut. I was aware of their timings and how their food starts getting over, that's why I reached the by 7:45... We were only two people and we had one goan chilly sausage, one pork sorpotel, one chicken vindaloo, steamed rice, jelly custard and thumbs up and total bill... More

All my Goan friends love this place as it reminds them of Goa. Think its shutdown now, not sure. I ordered fish curry, which was very cheap and a steak which was again tasty but inexpensive. The quantity was okay for a single person and it was tasty.

Suggested by a friend; I had one of my best meals here, the best of the lot being the Sorpotel, the Goan Chilly Sausage and the Beef Onion Steak. However everything else has a flavour of its own and authentically goan. They make less quantities of everything and shut early so one has to be in time to taste all... More

If you want to savour authentic Goan food in Mumbai then this place is for you. It is one of the smallest outlets I have ever been to but every guest in this small eatery is here to relish the food without expecting any frills. Quick tasty meals ...be it the Goan Fish Curry or the Sorpotel or Goan sausages...Yum... More

Yes, New Martins is very well known, but it's still a fabulous little hole in the wall. The Goan sausage fry here (homemade in house) is the best I've had, and the "steak and potatoes" wasn't bad either! Fun, communal, no-frills atmosphere and delicious home-style food...what more could you ask for?

Have been visiting Martin's since 1992 as a student and going back there is a trip down memory lane. Excellent goan food and at realistic prices. Pork sorpotel, vindaloo and the sea food are excellent along with the pav served.
