Good Goan food

Its the closest you would get to authentic Goa food in this part of town. TIny place (which means waiting time especially during lunch hours). No frills, non luxury. GO there just for the Goan food and you wont be disappointed.

Good wholesome Goan food. Great value for money. Very basic restaurant but always full. The earlier you go the more likely you will get a wider choice. The pork vindaloo and prawn pulao run out very quick

I walked half an hour from my hotel into this slightly dubious neighbourhood because I am a Brit who likes a Vindaloo, and wanted to try one in India, where I stayed only two days. I was not disappointed! The Pork Vindaloo was superb, yet not as spicy as some I've eaten in England. The restaurant itself is like the... More

The best place for good cheap and authentic Goan food in South Mumbai. Go there early or else you will find most of the items on the black board menu marked with a cross indicating it's over!!! Well known for it's fish, pork and beef dishes especially the sausages. Good desserts too.

This place is highly recommended by the regulars. However I have tried this place couple of times and didn't find the food to be good. I tried the Prawns Pulao and the Goan Sausage Fry.. Haven't tried the other Goan dishes like Vindaloo, Sorpotel so I will revise my rating after trying these items..

I ahve been eating at Martins for more than 20 years. Their taste has been the same and the food is absolutely delicious. Service is quick, prompt and attentive. Food is very reasonably priced. Must try their chilly fry, vindaloo, chicken curry and the caramel custard. Tip: This place is open only during a fixed time so be sure about... More

New martins gets the best of Goa on your place. It's a quaint place tucked in the corner of colaba market. Their pork vindaloo is to die for and is an all time favorite. I also tried the soup, which was worth the money.

Small dingy restaurant serving Goan specialities near Colba market, I found the food too hot but my Dad went crazy and ordered a second helping of the pork, he simply loved the place. It is very good value for money!

Been visiting this place since my college days. Economical is a characteristic that tops the lost. But the food really is what keep one coming back for more. The pork vindaloo is my all time favourite. The steak is pretty good too. Even all the seafood just add to the feel of really eating in a shak on the beach... More
