If sea food is what looking for in Mumbai then this is the place to be at. Great food superb service. A little expensive though but still worth. Highly recommend.

Once again a trip to Gajalee did not disappoint. Green chili jumbo prawns, tandoori pomfret and even the Dal khichdi left us all licking our fingers. Definite visit on my trip to India again.

I love Gajalee! This is a must-visit restaurant ever time I'm in Mumbai. I have eaten prawns, squids, crabs, sea fishes, and more at this place. The quality of the seafood and each dish is excellent. I have rarely ever been disappointed. Bombay Duck fry and Basa fry make perfect starters. I suggest ordering Tandoori Crab. Fresh crabs will be... More

Brilliant Seafood especially the tiger prawns. Fish curry was also awesome and the way they bring live crabs near to your table it is so funny and involving. Must visit for a true seafood fan.

The food is very good. I love their Sol kadi, surmai fish tikka, pomfret masala and the amboli's. Their prices have increased quite dramtically in the last 1 year or so. Food for 2 costs almost Rs 1800 without any alcohol.

If while in Mumbai and fish is on your mind, have no doubts, simply head to Gajalee. They are good and won't disappoint you. The Bombay duck or Bombil fry is worth going miles to eat and has being one of their specialties. So that is a safe bet. Not to forget the fish curry that they make. Post a... More

Great food, I thought it was good value for money (although I have been told by the locals that Gajalee is a rip off). I was quite happy with the meal we had that. Service was a little slow, but the seafood was very fresh and tasty. The dishes were also very interesting with a lot of variety. I would... More

The stir fry lobster was okay. I rated it 3 for the 2 reasons: the appetizer fish kebab was not fresh (looked and tasted like crab sticks) and the manager was annoyingly insistent. Yes, the manager! I asked him what crab dish he would recommend and he insisted I should not have crab. I asked for lobster and insisted to... More

My review missed 5 star thanks to the uncleanliness in the restaurant area as there were king sized mosquitoes biting us left right and center. On the contrary the food was superbly delicious and we went gaga about the Lobster in Butter Garlic, Prawns Fry Rawa, Achari Jhinga Gravy and Ambani. This is a great sea food restro but the... More

Last December, I went with friends to Gajalee (MIDC) for lunch. I had not been there for a few years. Yet, on arrival, one of the senior staff members recognised me and greeted me warmly. The main reason for me going there was to have bombay duck as well as the fried prawns. i was not disappointed. All the food... More
