Great atmosphere, buzzy place

If there's one place you could go for some cheap seafood and drink in Mumbai's poshest area- go here. I took some English friends here and it was instant love for them. We ate lots of fried fish amd drank loads with lots of young people and a good time was had by all withv little money

This place became a regular drinking spot for me and my partner. Love grabbing a few beers and food in this place.

This place is a must for visitors and will likely become one of your regular spots if you're in mumbai for awhile. Tasty food, good value, cheap drinks, friendly servers, and "excellent" ambiance. Downside is that you will almost always have to wait 15-30mins, sometimes an hour around dinner time. All of the food tastes great. Definitely try the chicken... More

You can't be a Bandra person and not have been here at least once. It's the complete epitome of a seedy little drinking joint. Don't go there expecting gourmet meals, or a sophisticated wine list. Janata is almost always packed with people, on both levels. Don't worry, once you get over how it looks, you will love it I swear!... More
