If u want to taste the most amazing southern food, head to GTR, steaming hot idlis with that slurpy watery coconut chutney is what u should try, and not to mention the most amazing masala dosas, if u are n Mysore it sure is a must try.

This place is most famous for dosas. If you have tried Mylari you can try this place as well. Slightly similar to Mylari dosa. Different taste. Worth the visit.

GTR is a perennial favorite of most dosa lovers. The place is open for 4 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening only.Do not expect very clean environment. Place has not changed over many decades. dosas are excellant. I prefer the Masala dosa but other varieties are good too. Pricing is very reasonable. Separate room for families... More

The online reviews make the place a must visit atleast once in a life time! Nope, not if you are from Bangalore, having fed on a feast of dosas from CTRs, Janathas, and the Vidyarthi bhavans! It was really good dosa i have ever eaten. Usually in all restaurants dosas will be baked one side and some times not baked properly. But here it was baked both the side and speciallity was like crispy and soft. Its a must visit to have a wonderful dosa. And don't miss coffee along with Dosa.

We went there for breakfast after visiting the Chamundi & Jwalamukhi temple. We tried Dosas, Masala Dosa, Khara Bath, Kesari Bath, idlis and coffee. Dosa's were yummy, I personally liked the Kesari and Khara Bath, the coffee was really strong, just take 2 sips the taste will linger for long time. It is self service in the main dining area....
