We always stop by Indra Cafe whenever driving across Mysore for road trips. Crispy dosas, soft idlis, hot pipping vada & pooris ! Finish breakfast with awesome Filter coffee. Did I mention that food is very reasonably priced too !! Definitely going back during our next visit to Mysore !!!

Its been a long time since I visited this place. It has changed a lot. The place is busy which is good - we were looking forward to the food. But there is no system for seating. You literally fight your way through the crowd to sit at a table. If you are in smaller than 4 in a group... More

Took a break for a meal after coming back from Chamundi hill. We had masala dosa, some kind of puri and fresh juices. Masala dosa was quite good, puri was so-so, juices ok. A bit of wating included as some previous guests noted. Don't remember exact price but it was cheap and ok for the price.

Ate here several times in Mysore and became ill - typical stomach problems from eating slightly unclean food or food splashed with Indian water. I'm pretty sure it was after breakfast though. Had a yummy dry alu channa and veg biriyani for lunch that I would recommend and probably still go back for a second time... Possibly worth the risk.

TOO MUCH WAITING: The day was 29th June 2013, when we were touring Mysore. I fell for the reviews on Google and went to this restaurant. It was a sunny and we were all dehydrated, at about 1330hrs. We were four and we ordered 3 lemon soda and a Sapota juice (each costing Rs.25) and we started to wait. The... More

Overall, Indra Cafe's is not a bad place to eat. However, it is crowded most of the times as it is located on a busy road. Those trying it out can taste Mysore Dosa. It is good. Please do not try their chaat items. It is a big let down at this place, especially the masala puri. Otherwise, this place... More

We arrived later on in the evening, and sent up stairs. At that hour, it was reasonably quiet. The food was very tasty and yummy! The menu was good, the place was clean and the food arrived reasonably quickly. More than happy to return!

If you want to eat the tasty Karnataka food, this is the place you have to go in Mysore. The food was really tasty and we enjoyed every bit of it. Right in the busy Mysore market, don't go by the looks from outside. When you enter the hotel, it is kept clean and tidy with piping hot food served... More
