Cool

If I were to recommend any cafe in town it would be this one. Both food and ambience are good. A much more comfortable and interesting cafe than its close rival, which has been voted number one.

Wake n bake is an interesting restaurant with colorful and woody theme. They serve authentic dishes in their exclusive flavors. The music is soulful and will make you feel go in a different era. If you wish to try something different and unique in the mountains, do visit this place.

I visited the cafe on my last trip to Shimla. I was excited to chek it out especially after reading the reviews over tripadvisor. I am sorry to tell that I found nothing exciting about that place. Just a dingy cafe on the first floor with poor service. And I would like to add that It took the guy nearly... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We appreciate your opinion. Just wanted to let you know that we actually have 3 floors with a total seating capacity of 50 people. Our cleaning schedule includes daily cleaning of every corner that the customer sees. It is uncanny for a customer to find our place dingy as it is... More

Nice atmosphere but only so-so food and service. -none of the meals arrived together -parts of the order were missing (coffee, french fries, etc) -servers didn't seem to interested in bringing the forgotten items -food was okay but arrived cold

Thank you for taking time to review us. We are taking large strides to improve our service so to hear of this experience where you received a part of your food cold is highly unfortunate. Do give us another chance to serve you, so that you may understand we are not just some place resting on our laurels, but we... More

Coffee was bad, food was okay but overly garlicky, and they charge for wifi ... Cheese in the crepe was rancid, but hummus was good.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. Wanted to start by telling you we now have free Wi-Fi and it's the fastest connection in town. We have been wanting to do that since a long time but we had too many people misusing the facility so we began to charge for it. A special router for... More

This café location on 1st and 2nd on the Mall has a chalet cosy atmosphere. All the food is excellent, service just OK. Just avoid to order starter and main course same time if you do not want to eat your main course almost cold as everything will be served same time … type Indian service ! But anyway it... More

Seldom do people miss the mall road when they visit shimla but m sure many would miss this delightful little place called Wake and bake. Although its popular but not as much as it should be.. it has a very basic setting but little things have been taken care of very tastefully like the interestingly painted walls the colorful windows... The cafe is overrated, cramped, has rude staff and food is just average. 12 of us went after looking at online reviews. The order took almost 25 minutes for the first item to come to the table. They ran out of water so they had no dishes to serve us. Finally we requested paper plates and the food arrived in... More

We are highly apologetic for the experience that you had at the cafe. The boy who was the cause of your grievance was not a waiter but a cleaner who was taken care of after the incident. He was not in an apt condition to be interacting with customers in any way even to clear tables but as we were... More

Do not miss it, even if you have no time during your visit make a breakfast time dash when it's not bursting with visitors. The pasta, pizzas, crepes and loads of stuff is not to be given a miss. If on a first visit keep your eyes peeled for the bright sunshine yellow colored windows, climb up and occupy the... More
